I am so Grateful and Thankful to Dr. Mancias and the WHOLE staff in Corpus Christi Spohn Hospital she saved my Honey life Theresa. Dr. Mancias you are JUST SO AWESOME AND YOUR TEAM IN THE O.R.

Dr. MACIAS Has operated on me 4 times. And they were all with great success. She is not like any other surgeon. She is so patient and she talks to you explains everything to you. She will pray with you. And afterwards she is right by your side all the way through your recovery. She is very intelligent she's kind gentle and she honestly cares. She is the only neurosurgeon in the state of Texas that l would ever let operated on me. She's a Doctor that you can put your life in her hands and trust her with all your heart and know she's going to take the very best care of you. Nobody even comes close to her. Back in September this past year she performed surgery to remove a tumor near the brain on our sister, this women Macias demeanor was very uncaring, very quick to leave, not wanting to give us the time of day, she cancelled my sisters surgery twice within a week, our family lives out of town, mind you and this was at the last minute each time she cancelled the surgery!! We feel that if maybe she would have tried to shrink the tumor or tried another procedure my sister's cancer would not have spread or her health would not had been where it is at now, Needless to say, people need to watch this show on crime watch with Chris Hansen, she was arrested twice for being drunk, and she was due to do, two delicate surgeries later on that evening, 10 hrs later. I cannot believe that they employed her here at Spohn Hospital, if we would have known about this womens dark past, we would have never allowed her to touch our sister!! Again watch Chris Hansen, crime watch, there is a video that shows the whole incident. People really need to look into her!!!

If you need surgery, WHY HAVEN'T YOU CALLED DR. MELISSA MACIAS FOR A SUCCESSFUL SURGERY. I have read n have seen her past. But look at the genious that she is. Besides, i have make many mistakes, i cant cast the 1st stone. Im not a snout that way. Get to talking with her, u can see how intelligent she is. Im extremely happy it was Dr Macias putting her skilled hands on me during surgery DR MELISSA MACIAS, YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

I waited for a year before I finally had the courage to go and see Dr. Macias. The damage I had done to myself in that year was completely ridiculous. When I finally saw Dr. Macias, she was thorough about my X-ray's. I loved the confidence she had and her honesty was the one factor that had me say, "Yes, you can do my surgery! I had no idea my Vertabraes we're pinching my Spinal Cords and so much bone had broken off. She explained every detail of the surgery she had planned for me, which was very comforting. My L1 and L2 we're bone on bone at point and it pinching my spinal cords.I had recently lost my Mother to Cancer so basically all of the staff we're so attentive to me. What I liked mostly was the moment Dr. Macias arrived at the hospital and she came straight to the prepping room I was in. She assured me it would be fine and she would take good care of me. I have to say this, there's No Doctor out there that would go out of her way to comfort me and make me feel so taken care of like Dr. Macias did. So if you are looking for a Neurologist, I truly feel you need to go see Dr. Melissa Macias ... I'm honored to have had her do my Surgery!😇Rebecca Garza

Talented surgeon, saved my life

Dr. Macias is a very skilled surgeon. She is outstanding! She has done several back surgeries for me and has changed my life. Thank you!

My son should be celebrating his 18th birthday today. Melissa Macias was the on-call surgeon at Childrens Hospital of WI after my son's surgery for medulloblastoma. She did not come into the hospital after multiple pages and when she finally arrived after several hours she was disheveled and performed an emergency procedure to alleviate the brain swelling. Melissa Macias had a case file regarding this incident with the Medical Board of WI and was found to have provided minimum standard of care.

Scheduled for surgery with Dr. MACIAS on October 22. Had a death in the family 3 and called the office to reschedule. Received a call back from her assistant and was told if i cancelled the doctor said she would not see me AGAIN. I asked why and she stated she didn't know. It through me for a loop that this Dr. would refuse to see me BECAUSE of my loss. I was told during my session with her that I needed the surgery due to a risk of PARALYSIS. To say the least, I am disappointed and shocked tha
