Dr Shuraih has been very patient with me. He seems to care about his patients. He takes time to talk to me & explain my issues in a way that I understand them better. I think he has excellent bedside manner which is not common with a busy specialist.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!! He was just replacing my mom's pacemaker and she is swollen and bruised from her neck to her waist! He moved her pacemaker closer to her arm and it bothers her every time she moves her arm! After the surgery, she started bleeding and had to go to the ER and the ER doctor couldn't believe his eyes and called in the cardiologist on call. The on call cardiologist apologized to her and told her it sure looked like Dr Shuraih was in a big hurry. He put in another stitch to stop the bleeding. Mom went back to this guy and he said "it wasn't bleeding when you left." "If I do surgery to fix it, your risk of infection triples!" I am out of my mind upset! What happened to doing it right the first time? It's been 3 weeks with very little improvement. I'm terrified that there is bleeding inside her. I never want another mother to go through this or another son or daughter to go through this.

I can't say enough positive about Dr. Shuraih. He takes time explaining your condition and any procedures necessary. He returns phone calls and is very patient. He made my experience much more tolerable when I was feeling bad and anxious about an upcoming procedure. His bedside manner is exemplary.
