He was terrible. Broke the vertebrae next to where he was using a bone to replace a disc, dropped that bone on the spinal cord, causing a spinal fluid leak, put screws in too far, causing a second surgery to reset them in two days when I was originally supposed to get out. I was hospitalized for nine days then spent 28 days in rehabilitation. I was on very strong medication until God healed me.

If you are considering leaving town to have your spinal surgery because you're concerned that no one in this town is qualified and you have to go to Houston or San Antonio (as I did to have my last surgical procedure six years ago),..... Don't put one foot in front of the other to leave this town! Dr Patrick Gleason is the most thorough, kind, empathic, knowledgeable spinal surgeon in this town! I asked him if he would pray for me the morning of the surgery? He said yes. I was shocked when after we had spoken all about my procedure the morning of, it took my and my fiance's hand and began to pray for God to watch over his hands and to help me have the best result possible. I started to tear up! That's the way he makes you feel, watched over! You feel like you're safe! You feel like if God is listening he will help this man to help you! And he does help you!I would trust anyone of my four children in his hands! That says everything!

Dr. Gleason replaced a disc in my neck years ago, the first operation of its kind in the Wichita Falls area, where he practiced at that time. Everything went perfectly, and all these years later, I still have complete range of motion and absolutely no problems at all. I wouldn't trust anyone else, period.

Dr Gleason was very professional and knowledgeable about what was causing my pain. He has discovered something that was missed by other physicians in the past about my back pain. Now it is time to start a treatment to get me healthy again.

We were very happy with the care we received from Dr. Gleason. He’s the first doctor that actually listened to my husband and offered us a solution to his problems.
