Wilson Velazquez's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr. Velasquez for almost 4 years now. He is a God sent to me. He has helped me so much with pain and some procedures without any problems. He has prayed with me. He is honest and explains everything in terms you can understand stand and with respect. Communication is the key! He does not just want to give me meds; he actually helps me with injections, nerve ablation, and pain stimulators. I recommend him 1000%. Thank you, Dr. Velasquez and staff, you are working miracles for people in pain and giving them quality of life back.

This doctor is so unbelievable cavalier in his practice that he really needs a wake-up call for being a conniving, money hungry doctor. I was hoping he wouldn’t do the usual thing pain management physicians do, which is pressure for injections that debilitate you for at least a whole day. No one even get a set of vital signs and they billed my insurance! My regular doctor retired, and I was referred to this guy for pain management. I really only wanted a safe and comfortable reduction in my meds for a few months, and ultimately to be rid of them. This doctor was the most condescending “professional” I have yet to meet in person. I could hear him pressuring some poor old lady in the next room for injections, and the woman was just saying she was scared. Once in the room with me, he quickly determined myself, and my spouse were of a high income level, pressured me for injections, and wanted to put me on one expensive meds. This is how people go downhill when in a difficult spot.

It is almost laughable that anyone could give Dr. Velazquez anything less than a TOP RATING! I have been a patient of his for over 5 years. He is not the only doctor I have seen for my back, but I can tell you he is the most companionate and comprehensive I have ever had.I have experienced some issues on the phone with staff, but they are constantly improving their process and invite feedback.Anyone that has negative office experience feedback is probably hiding behind their narrow minded political agenda.Thank you Dr. Velazquez and staff for your awesome patient care.

Great office, Providers, and staff.

Dr. Velazquez is one of the best doctors I have encountered in the Coastal Bend area, which is saying a lot considering the number of lousy doctors here. He patient, kind, and conscientious about the quality of his care. His staff is outstanding, in particular, Norma, who pushed my insurance company to quickly approve a spinal stimulator , a wonderful alternative to bone fusion surgery! El Dr. Velazquez es muy profesional y competente. Su equipo de trabajo es muy atento, educado y estan bien preparados profesionalmente . La Sra. Norma y La Sra. Terri son son personas maravillosas y atentas con el paciente. Esta clonica atiende pacientes con dolor lumbal, de rodilla y otros dolores. Yo fui por dolor de rodilla y se los aconsejo 100%.

My mom was a patient here, for a very short while, fortunately. I wish I could say they treated her well, or even human for that matter. But even that would be giving them too much credit.The person answering the phones/checking in was never nice. It was like they judged my mother and any other patient that had the displeasure of dealing with them.Susan, my mother’s “caregiver” always had a tone with my mom. Like condescending I guess is a way to describe it. It was like they never believed my mom about her pain and how much pain she was in. & lord forbid when she developed a tolerance and asked for a tiny up of her dosage. It was like she asked for an iv drip.This is too long , my point is, they were never once nice to my mom. I’m so so glad she found a new place to go to where she never has to feel less than anything for being in pain. From not returning phone calls and being hung up on. Thank the lord she’s being taken better care of now!!!

Have been going here for several years. Once you get to know him its great. Would recommend to anyone that needs to see a doctor for pain management.

I can only praise the office staff and i can only be so grateful for Dr. Velasquez and Dr. Susan. Excellent care they listen to you. All the nurses and office staff treat you with kindness and respect. Highly reccomend!!

Doctor & staff always work so diligently to make their clients are comfortable and at ease. Doc works good to make sure patient understand their issued and HOW pills he prescribed to you will help with your prognosis.Inside facility is very well clean, in order and smells comfortable and inviting.
