List of Daniel Maloney Md's Reviews
The office and nurses don't communicate with you. Reschedule appointments and leave notes that they spoke with you when they did not! Doctor himself doesn't explain anything or talk to you really. Doesn't pay much attention to what my children tell him or how they are feeling. His nurses never return phone calls and don't get prescriptions called in. My son has medicine he is supposed to take daily. I have to call every month to get the medicine refilled and it takes FOREVER for them to get it refilled for him. He has had to go without medicine on several occasions waiting on it to be called in and when it does get it called in I usually have to call back because the doctor doesn't even do the preauthorization that is required for it. When I took my son to have his checkup Dr. Maloney told me I needed to make sure that I was getting his prescriptions filled on time and when I told him I call WEEKS before he runs out and still can't get them filled on time he just said "hmm" and walked out of the room. Horrible staff and doctor. I have never had to deal with so many incompetent people!
Great pediatrician! Funny and smart guy who saw my kids through illness, physicals, and a cleft lip. I would return to him if we moved back to Central Texas.
Dr.Maloney and his staff are AMAZING! I’ve gone to him for 2 years now! He was the one that saw my son when he was born! I’ve gone to other pediatricians since I moved to north Dallas, but came back because of the care this doctor and his staff have for children! They are the BEST!
Would not fill emergency seizure medicine for my child also office is rude poor bedside manner and operates slowly on thing s their patients need done and is very unorganized when it to come to their patients paperwork .
Dr. Maloney saw all of my kids when living in the area. He was a funny and smart guy, who saw the kids through illness, physicals, and cleft lip surgery (he monitored it, didn't actually do the surgery). Very thorough and common sense. His nurses are amazing. We would return if we moved back to the area.
Dr Maloney and his staff are awesome! I can’t believe anyone would say different! I’ve been going to him for 2 years! Emergency visits the same day when my son has been sick! I won’t go anywhere else!
Never concerned with taking care of pre-authorizations. Begged for a dermatology referral. Called 6 times. Showed up and was told that Dr. Maloney required a visit first. We were there being seen three days prior. How cruel of a pediatrician are you that you would refuse a referral for a kid who has seen you for years. Not the first time he has done this, I tried to forgive the first time. We are seeking a new pediatrician currently. Will never recommend. Shame that greed is more important than a teen's self esteem.
Refused to give a referral without a visit. We had seen him three days prior. NO one would call back or help us out. Was a patient for years. We had issues in the past but this was the last straw. No concern for a child. Only about getting my copay, again.
Barely ever calls in my child's prescription. Have to wait six to nine days at minimum to get any prescriptions. Have to wait up to 4 days to get a doctor's appointment. Not very informative at every appointment
Not knowledgeable at all about the issues that are most important to me as a parent.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
