Thomas Sawyerr Md's Online Review Report Card

I went through several drs trying to find a good pediatrician for my daughter. We absolutely love dr Sawyer!! He takes such good care of her when she has to visit, great bedside manor and he's clearly in the right line of work working with children. He's amazing and we're so happy we found him!

I’m sad to have to leave this review because I think Dr sawyer is a good Doctor . But from 2016 to this year .Front desk service has gone completely down hill they are rude and snappy . I’ve held my mouth for a while but this needs to be fixed because dr .sawyer shouldn’t be represented this way he’s a good doctor his team is awful with the exception of maybe one nurse that has stuck by his side for as long as I’ve been going there .I hope he can build a better more professional and loving team . Because no one appreciates this nonsense.

The doctor is never available whenever my child is sick I always have to end up bringing her somewhere else I’ve been trying to schedule an appointment with Dr. Sawyer since February 2022 it is now August 2022 and she has not been able to get an appointment. I do not recommend him at all

Pick up your phone! Your clinic is open, there should be no reason I get an answer machine. When I finally got through I was placed on hold for 17 minutes before I hung up to try again. Unacceptable.

Good bedside manner with the kids and good nurses but Dr. is dismissive, judgmental, and not at all thorough IMO. Called LAST Monday just trying to schedule a flu shot and was told I couldn't pending their "possibly" running a clinic and that I'd receive a call back. Well, it's Thursday, more than a week, haven't heard anything. Will be returning to our pedi in Round Rock for routine care and finding a different practice in the DFW area for acute needs.

dr sawyer himself is wonderful. the 4 instead of 5 stars is because cassandra at the front desk couldn’t possibly be any more rude. she was nasty and rolled her eyes at me 3 times in our a total of 3 sentences we said back and forth to each other. not a good look. and based on other reviews i’m not the only one who thinks so.

I just can't believe that I literally scheduled a follow up for my children yesterday I come in today only to be told my children can't be seen. I literally ask Jennifer at the front desk about this letter I received by placing the letter on the glass infront of me she didn't clearly understand it thri the glass so i placed it under the glass and she proceeds to tell manager that I slammed it on the glass and my daughter clearly seen everything happening this is the 2nd time a rude front desk associate as attempted this madness my children have been coming here since we moved here in 2018 first it was racial now this just adds more to it smh I can't believe this wasting my time and gas I don't have the sad part i received the letter before coming here

They asked me to come in early due to my son being a new patient for paperwork. I arrive at 10:30 and my sons appointment is 10:45. They did not hand me any paper work which was odd but I sat down. I continued to wait until 11:07. At this point my sons tired of sitting and getting antsy. I go to the desk clerk and ask how long its going to be. She already has attitude due to me asking after someone else. She explains that the doctors nurse is on vaca so the other lady subbing is having a hard time. She then says I can reschedule but the next open appointment is in October some time. Giving her a benefit of the doubt I told her I'd wait 30 more minutes or ill find another doctor. Which she replied "sorry" with more sassy. I ended up leaving at 11:30 without my son being seen. I have never sat in a office this long. My son is now going to see a doctor for his wellness in Ennis Tuesday. Would not recommend. I might be old fashion but once we schedule a appointment in advance and you tell me to come early to have attitude and be a hour plus behind its rediculous.

Absolutely the best pediatric ever..

Dr. Thomas Sawyer is an amazing Pediactrics doctor but the the front staff is horrible the phone lately isn’t answered on time and when it is answered im on hold what seems like forever I soley deal with it for my children’s sake bc thomas Sawyer is such a great doctor but the front desk ladies always seem bothered or annoyed. I wish this location would follow their appointment times they schedule the supervisor, melody doesn’t do anything bc this has been a reoccurring issue since 2017 as much as it’s made a point to where we have to schedule our appointments in this office the office should be respectful to be considerate of our time especially at a time like this
