Sonia Bajaj's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Bajaj is very personable & I appreciate all that she's done for me some my autoimmune diagnosis. However, I can't stand the way the office is ran! I met her Nurse Practitioner, was told to schedule a follow up in 3 months & the NP doesn't provide her month long schedule until that month is about to or has already begun. I had to call the office 8 times- 3 months after being seen, before i could get an appointment for that 3rd month follow up & have since run out of pain needs because the 3 month Rx ran out BEFORE I could make the follow up appointment.The office people don't seem to care - there's definitely a disconnect within that office & depending on how my appointment goes today, I may be looking for a new Rheumatologist with a better office manager & more egocentric scheduling.

Dr. Bajaj is an amazing doctor. She has been so attentive to any issue I have had and would highly recommend her to anyone with Rheumatology issues.

She has helped me at last after years of pain when no one else could. She's a lovely person with a positive attitude and listens to what you have to say.

This doctor will sit and listen to my concerns. She is really friendly. I love her!

Dr. Bajaj is without a doubt one of the best Rheumatologist that I have had in over 15 years of dealing with this condition. She not only cares, but is extremely competent. She keeps up with the current information regarding Covid-19; and, told me how to manage my medication with respect to getting the Covid-19 Vaccination. She is thorough during the examinations, and is explains clearly what I need to do.In addition, her staff, Vanessa and Brittany are extremely competent and helpful. When I need a prescription refilled, the process is expedited quickly!! I feel blessed to have a physician like Dr. Bajaj.

This office is the worst, I have been trying to get a prescription for the longest time, every time I call the office they always tell me "ok we will send the preauthorization to the insurance so they can cover your medicine..." and they never do, my medication has been sitting in the pharmacy for the longest, waiting for this doctor to send required preauthorization to my insurance stating why I need this medication and the office staff seems to not care about my health at all.This office and Dr. here don't even deserve a one star review at all, they don't care about the patients' health, they just care about the money.I am now in the process of switching doctors because this is just ridiculous. They can't help you out and I have been in a lot of pain for 2 months now and the medication I was originally prescribed gave me very bad side effects.I went through a lot of trouble getting this taken care of and the office kept sending me back and forth with my insurance. I was told several times by my insurance that they still hadn't received pre-auth when Doctor and Office would state otherwise, my insurance even sent the office a pre-auth for them to fill out via fax, all they had to do was fill out and send back but they still took their sweet time and sent it until the end of the day when I kept calling and calling, not considering how long I've been waiting and not even having any sympathy that I am already in pain again.

It took me seeking another rheumatologist to discover how lazy she is. My new dr ordered 24 X-rays to get a baseline where my joints are being affected. My X-rays showed arthritis in multiple joints.She is nice but I feel she needs to listen to her patients more. I’ve been trying to get disability for several years. According to her, I’m not disabled enough in my joints for her to support my decision. She didn’t even recommend another dr. I have complex hip and back issues along with fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. In my records, it says my bursitis is well controlled with trigger point injections. Trigger point injections is like putting a bandaid over a injury and calling it helpful. These injections take the edge off by reducing swelling. But you can’t get them frequently. And just bc I don’t come back in a month or two doesn’t mean they are working great. As a pain patient, I would be at the dr daily trying to put out fires in my body. It’s too exhausting. I typically push as far as I can go until I break to he one of getting another bursitis injections.I’m sure she can be helpful to someone who has clear/defined joint issues. But forget seeing her if you do. She will rush you out, talk over you, won’t listen, and brush off the severity of the pain.

I have been seeing Dr Bajaj about five years. I can see how others might find her personality a bit gruff but she's awesome once you get to know her. She listens to me and not just the labwork. She's very knowledgeable about the medication and costs. When discussing treatment plans, she helped me find the best fits for my budget. She is caring, funny, and goes the extra mile.

I was left in a virtual waiting room for over an hour and a half and everyone went to lunch. I tried to call after lunch to talk to someone and the first time I was on hold over 5 minutes. I hung up and called back the front desk rudely cut me off mid sentence and put me back on hold. Current hold time 9 minutes and holding.
