List of Cristian Romero's Reviews
Dr. Romero was my primary care physician from 2013 until he moved away from Lake Charles, LA in 2021. He is such a great physician who really cares about how you feel and ensures that whatever you are dealing with gets taken care of promptly. I am very sad that I will no longer get to consult him about my health, but I know wherever he is, he will carry on his great level of medical knowledge, his wonderful bedside manner and caring nature. Thank you Dr. Romero!
Great communication skills when dealing with me as a patient. Efficient use of the time but not rushed and is acceptable to natural cures when are proven. Best of all I feel I can trust him.
Dr. Romero is one of the best Internal Medicine doctors I’ve ever had. I feel very comfortable and confident with him. My only problem after somewhere around five years of seeing him has been his staff. It has always been a struggle to have calls returned, and speak to a staff member about medicine refills, I was berated yesterday because I called about a refill and it showed on her records that I wasn’t due a refill, as I was trying to explain to her I was told to stop and listen to what she had to say. I called my pharmacy and had a refill available that day. It looked to her like I was trying to get a refill a month in advance. I understand her concern but I felt belittled, judged, and berated at 57 years old. I don’t take the medicine prescribed every day because I either forget or choose not to so there were thirty days I hadn’t taken it. I ran out before my two week vacation for one thing. Just tell patient to call pharmacy and let pharmacy decide if patient has refill availabl
This doctor was assigned to my sister up in Cornerstone. He is extremely rude and does not listen to the patient or the patient's family. He constantly talks over them and just says what he wants to say. He does not let people voice their concerns. This is a terrible thing as doctors should listen to concerns.
Dr. Romero seems to be a good dr. The nurse staff very seldom returns calls, you are never informed of test results yet other test ordered and you just have to guess why or try to call and call, hoping for an answer. Never let you know when prescription is sent to pharmacy. Just moved to area several years ago. Never had this kind of problem with my former doctor's staff. Maybe this is just the procedure of Memorial medical doctors? I am starting search for new doctor today because of staff.
Hands down best doctor I've had! Very thorough, never feel rushed. Wait times are very minimal. Always cares for my well being. If he feels its beyond his specialties, Dr. Romero doesn't hesitate to refer you to specialist.
I started seeing Dr. Romero over 5 years ago. He encourage me in a positive way to manage my weight and I find that he is extremely thorough to make sure I am taking only what I need to take to stay healthy or to get well when I am sick.
Dr. Romero is kind and compassionate, he makes you feel as if you are his only patient. Very concerned for your well being. His nurse now Alana has never let me down. Several occasions she has called after hours ro make sure I am ok. It has been a real pleasure having her with him now.
Doctor and nursing staff does not return phone calls for months regarding patients needs. Nurse is rude saying things like, your mother is not the only patient we have, if you finally get to speak to her. Makes you feel that the patient is unimportant to them. Cannot recommend them.
Very personable and straight to the point. Good with doctor phobia patients. Combines modern and home remindee suggestions for certain things. Nursing staff also pleasent.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
