Al Aly Md's Online Review Report Card

There are less than a handful of surgeons with Dr. Aly's capabilities in the entire world. Lucky for me as a Dallas resident he was my one and only choice. From initial meeting to full on consultation I was treated with the utmost respect and compassion. All of my concerns have been addressed and my surgery plan exceeds all preconceived expectations. I lost over 234lbs in 14 months and he is going to work his magic. I can't wait!

I was not impressed and actually felt like he and his staff we a tad judgmental Went for arm lift consultation. Not sure is he is use to surgery with AA patients.

I would say that Dr. Aly is a rare find. He is a wonderfully skilled plastic surgeon with artistic vision and an eye for detail. Further, his people skills are exemplary. He really listens, which is key to planning for surgery. For example, he began by trying to find out what I really wanted, and what I wished him to achieve. Then he told me honestly whether he could achieve what I desired, and only after he fully understood my reasons for the surgery. He took the time to ‘seek to understand’. He was, and is, completely empathetic, so I felt at ease and secure in the fact that he cared about me and my outcome. His great “bedside manner” extended to those who work for him; every employee that works for him sang his praises. He is genuine and caring. And the surgery? He exceeded all expectations and seemed humble when told that. Actually, he did a first-ever surgery on me, one he never tried before, once he was in the surgery room and realized a problematic issue, and it worked beautifully. So, under pressure, he’s the same calm, caring doctor you first speak to; he made great decisions and continued to work hard to get to where I wanted to be. He was not deterred. Dr Aly initially felt I needed to wait a while to do a secondary small procedure, and I did wait. However, when he found out via his assistant that I wished to finalize everything before the summer, he called me personally and left a message. He said he reviewed all my pictures that were post-surgery a couple of months ago and felt he could move forward after all. He requested that I, since he was going out of town, contact his assistant to set up the second procedure. He cared and took the time prior to going out of town to call me personally. Further, he himself called me after the first surgery to ensure I was doing okay. Bottom line his integrity, compassion, humility, creativity, ingenuity and commitment to excellence, was present throughout my entire experience with Dr. Aly. Given that, and his incredible skill as a plastic surgeon, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Aly. He is absolutely amazing!

I absolutely love Dr Aly and his staff. He was awesome before and during the surgery and recovering. I had a couple things of set back and he seen me regularly and made sure I healed and stayed healthy. He is very concerned and active in his patients healing and concerns. He takes time personally to call and check on his patient. He is definitely who I will always use for my plastic surgery needs and will recommend him to my friends and family!!

I am 50 years old and I had been unhappy with my body for over a decade. However, I was terrified of ending up with surgery from a doctor that made things worse than better. I knew I wanted to have the surgery at UT Southwest because I had donated a kidney to my son at that hospital in 2012 and it was the best treatment I had ever received at a hospital. I searched doctors in Plastic Surgery at UT Southwest and found Dr Al Aly. I met with him on my consultation and really liked his bed side manner and his honesty. He is kind and he cares about his patients. I had my surgery August 25,2021 and it has been almost 4 months and I could not be more happy. I healed nicely and his incisions were perfect.I was very large chested at one time so I had a lot of breast tissue to work through. I did not have any complications that come with having larger implants put in. Dr Aly knows what he is doing. He is worth the extra money! You can bargain shop for a car or even for a house but never ever bargain shop with your body!! You pay for what you get and that’s the best!! I had this surgery during the middle of the pandemic and did not get Covid from surgery or home all the visits at the hospital. Trust Dr Aly with your body and your life because he is worth your trust❤️❤️

Dr. Aly is wonderful! He was very attentive to my needs and incredibly thorough. I received a belt lipectomy and was referred to Dr. Aly because of his expertise in body contouring after massive weight loss. He was able to address all of my concerns and treated me with great respect and patience. He was incredibly meticulous during the pre-op markup and the surgery went very smoothly. I am about six months post op and feel (& look) incredible! I can not believe the body he was able to help me achieve. I am so thankful for him and his team. Zero regrets.

I HAVE RECENTLY HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET ANOTHER MEMBER OF DR. GANGNESS'S TEAM, DR. ALY. HE IS ONE OF THE GREATEST PLASTIC SURGEONS I HAVE EVER MET AND WORKED WITH; I AM A REGISTERED NURSE AND HAVE WORKED WITH MANY PLASTICS AND CAN HONESTLY SAY, HE IS AN ARTIST AND A PERFECTIONIST. I NEEDED SOME ABDOMINAL SURGERY DONE, CALLED ABDOMINAL PLASTY. I AM COMPLETELY SATISFIED AND THRILLED WITH THE RESULTS AND WOULD TRUST HIM WITH ANY OTHER WORK I MIGHT WANT OR NEED IN THE FUTURE.
