Alexander Mantas's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Mantas and his staff did an excellent job for the colonoscopy I had yesterday morning. I was greeted at the door and my paperwork was completed quickly. I was called in by Megan, who did a super job talking with me, updating my medical information and providing the necessary gown with a complete explanation, making sure I was warm and ready to go. Hilary came to explain the next step, again made sure I was comfortable and wheeled me into the room where Dr. Mantas verified I was the right patient for the right procedure, he answered my questions and gave me confidence in his abilities and the positive outcome. The results were what we wanted and Dr. Mantas assured me we would have the additional information as soon as possible. Michelle came in to help me dress and be sure I was ready to leave. What a marvelous experience for an ordinary procedure! I highly recommend DHAT and the Staff!

I spent over a decade wondering why I had a certain diagnosis. Doctor after doctor couldn’t figure it out. Dr. Mantas did my routine EGD & figured out why! It was nice to finally be able to piece together the mystery! I still see him after 4 years! I am a new patient with Dr. Mantis. My first appointment was an in office visit scheduled for Thursday but on Wednesday the metroplex was hit with ice and snow. His office called me on Wednesday and rescheduled a video appointment for Thursday morning. This was huge for me because I desperately needed the visit and his guidance. Additionally, I travel often and having the option to video in is critical for me at times.Early Thursday, I was telephonically contacted by one of his staff members, who was extremely polite and thorough while gathering the information she needed from me. There was no rush, she had time for me.During my FaceTime appointment with Dr. Mantis, I immediately felt as if he had concern for my current in-flare condition. He walked me through options, current and future medications and discussed testing(s) relevant to to the biomeds that has never been done for me before. In fact, some of the tests he does to help identify the appropriateness of the biomeds to the patient, I’d never heard of and I have dealt with UC for 15 years.I have been at the end of my rope with this current flare, which seems to be turning for the better, and have not had a lot to look forward to until speaking with Dr. Mantis today.I have an appointment scheduled and am excited to call him my new Dr…!
