Angela Young Achong Mejia's Online Review Report Card

I've been a patient of Dr. Young for the last two to three years and she's wonderful. She has always listened to my concerns regarding my chronic migraines and has offered lots of treatment options. She's very easy to talk to and she takes the time to carefully explain new treatments and answer any questions I have. She has offered a solution that works really well for my migraines and I couldn't be happier.

Very much unimpressed. The doctors at this practice ordered repeated and very, very expensive tests. The same tests as every other neurologist I’ve seen in the past. They gave me diagnosis of epilepsy without even an ounce of diagnostic support. They billed thousands of dollars to my insurance company because they knew I have already met my maximum out of pocket expense. Had I allowed it, they would have scheduled me for the same tests in the future knowing they could receive 100% reimbursement with the same unsupported results.It is my opinion that this practice is intentionally billing for procedures that are ineffective. They have all of their tests conducted in house to ensure they receive payments in-houseAs it turns out, my cardiologist says my episodes are more likely the result of my historical, documented low blood pressure and lack of proper hydration. Makes a lot more sense considering my symptoms. This practice never even considered this likely cause. Why? I don’t know, but in my opinion they ignored it because in doing so they wouldn’t be able to bill thousands of dollars in needlesstests.In my opinion these people are no better than voodoo witch doctors.Do not a,low them to diagnose you with epilepsy without test results that support that diagnosis. If they try to do so leave immediately. In fact, run for the door.You have no idea oabout how much a diagnosis of epilepsy will destroy your life. I know from my experience it’s a life changing event In my opinion,, this practice doesn’t give a damn about the damage they have done.

Dr. Young is absolutely awesome. She is a super communicator. She gives full detail about my situation and thoroughly explains everything. She has incredible bedside manner which is as important as her expertise. I couldn't be happier with her as my doctor.

She is a 10 in my book for every checklist on my Doctors. She is very caring and warm, she listens to each complaint and never stops until she finds the answer. The reason for the wait time is the time she spends with each patient. They do hurry her along, unless it is an emergency .

My complaint is against the appointment scheduler, on Tues April 17th call made at 2:09. I believe her name was Angela. How rude! I understand there was not an appointment available for me until late June. However; can I at least say okay thank you before she hangs up the phone!! Her response was "just go down your list of referrals, call us back if you ?????...'click'!!!! Phone call ends. The question marks are because, I could not understand what she was saying after no available appointments.

Dr Young , was very knowledgeable and caring She spent a lot of time with us explaining our options for care . I would highly recommend her

Dr. Young is wonderful. She made me understand the nature of my problem in detail and was very caring and professional. Her demonstration using the 3D animator made me really understand the problem I was having. Surely she is one of the best. I absolutely recommend her! Also, her assistant Peaches is fantastic as well.

Dr Young always goes above and beyond for me. She listens, is understanding, and really looks at the entire picture of each patient. She is truly a blessing.

Dr. Young is a blessing in my life. The time she takes to listen and to educate me on ways to get me better was so unexpected. I have been a patient now for almost 3 years. No one "wants" to have to go to a neurologist, but if you do, you will be utterly thankful for her. Her MA, Peaches, is the perfect match for Dr. Young. You are made to feel important and that's exactly what you are to Dr. Young. I am an actual patient who should have thought about writing this from the day we met.

She is not only the Best Dr, also is an exceptional Woman and friend
