List of Ashleigh Halderman Md's Reviews
I went to my local ENT because I really could not sleep due to congestion every time I laid down. I gradually lost all sense of taste and smell. My ENT sent me for an MRI and it came back 90% blockage in all my sinuses from polyps and inflammation. I was referred to Dr. Halderman for a procedure to remove the blockage. A friend who just has the same procedure with a different doctor told me to expect swelling to where I could not breathe through my nose for an extended period and severe pain for 4 days or so. From what I read it could take a month for my taste and smell to return. When I woke up from the surgery I could breathe like a jet engine and after a week that has never changed so as a result I am finally sleeping through the night. Amazingly I never had any pain and never needed any medicine post recovery. Dr. Halderman is as my ENT that referred me to her said: "She is the very best"
I have been given the complete run around by Ashleigh and the three other "doctors" that she has refered me to since she has no idea how to treat a simple nasal condition. It's been nearly a year and no resolution to a basic nasal issue. Furthermore, these Southwestern physicians like to ask for payment up front on "potential procedures". Then when they don't actually complete the procedure they charge you anyways. I talked to billing to complain and was told "my account was noted" Then they turned it in to collections. I am of the strong opinion that they are running a racket and are potentially fraudulent in their billing practices. I literally have the paper work showing what was done on my visit yet was charged for a procedure that never took place. And good look contacting billing - have waited on hold for over an hour twice. I was actually forced to pay for a service not rendered in order to protect my credit. Ashleigh and this department of ENT is a joke! Do not go here or trust these people
I am a RN living with metastatic breast cancer since 2013. I think Dr Halderman and UTSW saved my life last week. I had been having horrid headaches that were gradually getting worse. On June 6th I went to UTSW ER. They were the 3rd ER visit within a week. They did a brain CT scan and MRI immediately. They listened to my complaints of head pain. UTSW took immediate action. They cared. I am okay now because they listened. Thank you Dr. Halderman.
Dr. Halderman is the kindest and most honest yet direct physician I have seen in years. She REALLY listened to my and my husbands concerns. She explained what five other doctors did not. She showed empathy that no other doctor has when it came to trying to diagnose my issues. Dr. Halderman has referred me to a neuro surgeon. Hoping he can diagnose or rule out the problem. She was very clear in her explanation that I do not have a CFS leak. Was so nice to walk out of there with closure. UT Southwest is an amazing institution. Very organized, professional and they keep you informed. I would recommend Dr Halderman and UT southwest to everyone.
She was quick to the point, very knowledgeable and caring. Listened to my issue's and didn't just blow me off. I'm grateful for her and her staff!
She was dismissive and argumentative, and then stormed out of the room 10 minutes into my appointment, ranting to her floor! This woman is unprofessional and unstable and has no business practicing medicine, let alone at a research hospital that is the last hope for many patients.
She's just great

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
