List of Baylor Scott & White Endocrinology Specialists North Texas's Reviews
I've really struggled with finding doctors that I feel like really listen to every single symptom and weigh all options - Dr. Aryangat does just that. By far one of the best doctors I've had and I feel like I am getting extremely thorough care & resolutions to my issues. He spends a considerable amount of time every visit, and has fantastic bedside manner. The front desk staff has been great as well, scheduling appointments has been easy, and everyone is always so kind. Thankful I found this clinic!
New patient with Dr. Aryangat. He spent considerable time with me and I’m confident that he will help me with my health issue. His bedside manner was excellent! This has been the best experience with a new doctor! My experience with the front staff was great! My wait time was great! The nurse explained they were running a bit behind. I was fine waiting people need to have patience. We’re not the only patients these dr’s see. The young lady who drew my blood did an excellent job as well because they always have the hardest time with me she did it with no issue which calm my nerves! I’m excited to come back!
Dr Kristen Jackson is the first doctor in 12 years to treat my endocrine disorder well, I'm just so thankful.
I've been seeing Dr. Welch for many years and have recommended him along with Dr. Herbst to numerous family members, friends, and clients. Dr. Welch has always taken the time to listen and makes sure to consider my symptoms along with my lab work in order to best manage my thyroid issues. I've never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes in the waiting room here (but I also usually book first thing in the morning), and I've never waited more than 5 minutes for the lab. I haven't had to interact with office staff much so no experience there, but when I've checked out from my visit the staff have always been pleasant and helpful.
New patient with Dr. Vallera. She spent considerable time with me and, hopefully, she will be able to help me control my diabetes. HOWEVER, the office staff is an irresponsible mess. They sent two prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy and they provided a printout of my supposedly current meds that had many wrong or missing listings. "Not our fault" they said. "Blame the Baylor system." And be prepared to spend hours on hold!
Worst place to try and get help someone on the phone tells you that you are good to come then when you get there you are told that you need to paper work horrible communication and service never recommend going back or going here
Went in for a follow up appointment. I waited an hour before being called in. I saw the doctor for maybe 5 min or less, he seemed like he was in a rush. After that I waited another 45 min before getting blood drawn for labs. Wasted 3 hours of my day to see the doctor for not even 5 min. I have never had a experience this bad in my life at any endocrinologist visit. Make sure you do not have any plans for the day if you are deciding to go here.
I found this practice having been to other doctors at Baylor Scott and White. Dr. Arayanka is who I was assigned to and he is very nice. He has good bedside manner and listens well and explains things in detail which I like because I always have lots of questions. The frustrating part of the practice is the front staff and people who control and manage all the details before you get in with the physicians. I’ve seen two docs now who were both excellent . But the wait times and calling in aspects are horrible. I have been trying to talk with someone this morning about test results and no one has even answered the phone yet and I’ve been on hold over 15 min. This is pretty typical for calling in. Once I had a concern about a lab and a side effect to a medication and spoke to about 4 people and all of them told me that this wasn’t something they handled there. Of course it was. Once I got into the practice and saw my doctor, it was all fine, but getting to the doctors is too hard. For the amount of people working at the office, I can’t understand why it can take an hour to even talk to a secretary or appointment maker when you call. It’s unacceptable.
Dr. Welch is awesome! He’s super friendly and knowledgeable. He works hard to follow up with you to see how you are doing and will get you your lab results back even if it means calling you from the office late into the evening. You have to pay for parking which isn’t ideal, but I have no complaints otherwise.
Dr. Vallera is an excellent doctor BUT the way they schedule their appointments is INSANE. I ALWAYS have to wait 30-45 min. in the waiting area before they take me in.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
