This review has been long overdue, as I reflect on my experience post-radiation therapy for breast cancer, which I completed in October 2024. The radiation department truly stands out for its unwavering professionalism, deep compassion for patients, and extensive knowledge in their field. I was fortunate to be under the exceptional care of Dr. Granger Scruggs, along with his dedicated nurse, Lauren, the insightful nurse practitioner, Kimberly Meiser, and the skilled radiation therapist, Rhissa. Walking into my first appointment, I was overcome with nerves, but Dr. Scruggs and his nursing team quickly alleviated my fears with their reassuring presence and warm demeanor. Once the treatment began, I found that radiation was much more manageable than I had anticipated. What I cherished the most was the camaraderie I developed with Dr. Scruggs and his staff; their support and friendliness made every visit something to look forward to. Overall, everyone in the department was nothing short of amazing, and their care transformed a daunting experience into one filled with hope and encouragement.
Dr. Bohkari was amazing. She walked me thru surgery expectations and my experience was seamless. From the pre op thru after surgery follow up my care was amazing!
All I can say is harassment about estimated procedure payment
My Transplant Team was amazing and all RN were AWESOME!!!👍😎
Dr. Mella is fantastic. The building is easy to navigate. Valet is the best parking option as the garages are always full. That’s my only critique - the parking situation is bad. Staff in the lobby of the first floor are helpful in finding your way. Every staff member I encountered was nice.
Disrespectful staff.
Always said after my wife’s kidney transplant that I would never had a negative thing to say about this hospital, until today. Had a run in with a HATEFUL lab tech who kept passing over a man sitting in front of us. She called out at least 6 peoply who registered after us and that man had been sitting there for over 1/2 hour and she kept passing him up. When they called Debbie’s name I told her that this poor guy has been sitting here much longer than us. She then looks at her screen and says his name is all the way up at top not down where it’s supposed to be, like it’s his fault. So he goes up and after him she calls a person who registered after us on purpose because I spoke up for him. I said how did Debbie go from next to someone else ahead of her?. She got real smart mouth with me and I told her just be quiet I’m not speaking to you anymore, her supervisor just stood there as she kept running her mouth to me. I can’t stand incompetence along with disrespect and it was all because after drawing blood they are suppose to change the persons name on the screen to another color an she was to lazy to do it and that’s what caused the confusion. Honestly amazed that her supervisor let her speak to me the way she did, even after I kept quiet she kept running her hateful mouth. So my happy bubble for Baylor got burst. Her transplant doctors and the rest of the staff have always been amazing.
SLOW! I’m don’t understand why we’re here for HOURS every time we come. Our first appointment was FOUR HOURS to see the doctor. The minimum wait to get vitals is an hour. The first chemo treatment we waited 2 hours in the waiting room before we were called back only to CONTINUE WAITING you spend more time here waiting than being healed. If they have too many patients they need to get additional staff or stop taking new patients. People come here because they’re sick, they leave irritated instead of healed. This is ridiculous and don’t get me started on the mistakes the doctor has made! Run if you can
I had a double lung transplant here. I can tell you that the doctors and nurses are top-notch. I celebrated four years on May 10th of this year. If you are not a donor please consider doing that. Talk with your family make sure your wishes are known. A part of you can live on in someone else.
Not good . I pray to Jehovah for his will be done in this hospital as it is in heaven In Jesus name

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
