The post care team here was absolutely amazing. My day nurse Lilly and night nurse Bethany were so kind, patient and knowledgeable; they made me feel like my recovery was their top priority even though they had other patients on the floor. Even the middle of the night wake ups for meds weren’t abrupt and annoying like at some hospitals. The patient care technicians were great. Laverne was my favorite, she was too funny and really made my stay enjoyable for being laid up after surgery. And tbh the food was pretty good too.
The staff was great. But waited over an hour for a wheelchair to take my sister home. She was tired and laid back in the bed and went to sleep. I do not understand what was taking so long. Bad service
If I could give this hospital and the treatment my mother has received since being admitted here a 0 star rating, it still wouldnt be low enough. The nursing staff on floor 6 are unkind and unprofessional to say the least. If you ask them for ANYTHING they roll their eyes and make snide remarks to you and your family member. One nurse I called to the room to ask for an update on my mom said the following word for word "I have been running around all day, I have no clue what is going on with your mother", mind you this nurse had been on shift for FIVE hours. As a nurse myself this was unacceptable. Take it another step further my mother is on comfort measures only able to receive medications via IV when her midline infiltrated, a second line was placed and after this procedure the nurse caring for my mom said the following "I wouldn't recommend requesting many IV push medications going forward because if she loses this line she will not be getting another one." You do not know the amount of unwarranted stress and worry this caused my mother and family until a doctor stated that the nurse was lying when she told us this. Looking back im pretty sure the nurse made that statement with the plans of it decreasing us "interrupting her day" and I will say it worked in her favor for 24hrs and my mother suffered that amount of time. For such a reputable hospital this place has been a building of horrors. On top of the poor treatment by staff the call speakers in the room do not work at all and we even had a family member get stuck in an elevator which apparently "happens all the time" per the unfriendly nursing staff when we were seeking help and again received little to none. Baylor needs to do better. I will say the one bright light in our experience here has been Nautica, she is a PCT and the absolute sweetest person. Baylor needs more people like Nautica in their building.
This hospital may have a high-standing reputation, but our family’s experience has been nothing short of devastating. The nursing staff has shown shocking negligence and a cold, detached attitude toward my mother during her care. There is no compassion in their approach — only frustration when family members ask questions or advocate for their loved one. With the exception of a handful of nurses/ PCTs we’ve had (Nautica, Juan, and a sweet pregnant nurse) I’ve been gravely disappointed in the nursing's staff. Basic safety and functionality are also inexcusable. A family member was trapped in a broken elevator, and the in-room call mics are practically useless, making it difficult to get timely assistance. The lack of urgency or concern from staff in these situations was appalling. A hospital with this kind of reputation should be setting the standard for quality care, not leaving patients and families feeling ignored, disrespected, and unsafe. Our family will never forget how poorly my mother was treated here during her final days.
Amazing place-doctors, nurses, hospital workers all top notch. My wife has gotten a very high quality of care!! No point in leaving Dallas for the best cancer treatment!
My mom has only been there for few days and oh my goodness do they take really really good care of her. I am beyond grateful for the nurses the staff in general are amazing. I know I can rest knowing she will be getting taken care of. So so thankful for this wonderful experience.
Very caring owned business for cancer patients.
I cannot say enough good things about the care that my husband received from the nurses, drs, on down to the cleaning crew. The treatment And care received from the nursing staff was outstanding and beyond expectation. We consider all Rhodes nurses family.
The amenities are superb. I can't say much about the nurses for 605 this time 1/3/25. The way you call them when your machine is beeping and they don't come after an hour and a half is totally ridiculous. I know they have other patients but this is annoying as hell. I would like to know how to stop the beeping myself. Because this is our second round and being here for a month last time and not knowing how long we will be here this time is overwhelming. Someone really needs to get on top of this problem. The person that changes the linens hasn't been in my husband's room for 4 days now. I don't know what's going on but I am overly pissed. We don't want to be on this hall in room 605 again...in room 620 we didn't have these problems. I would appreciate some help on rectifying these issues.
They've done nothing but mess around for weeks while we needed urgent care. They gave him the wrong medicine and did not do what we were there for to begin with. Poor communication with each other and the patient at best. Rarely, if ever, did a doctor come in and the nurses were scarce - even when constantly calling for help. Especially on weekends. Now we've lost a part of our family

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
