List of Belinda Vicioso Md's Reviews
I’ve been taking my parents who are in their high 80’s to Dr. Vicioso for 5 yrs. They feel very comfortable with her even when she’s had tough talks with them, like letting my dad know he couldn’t drive anymore and later diagnosing him with Alzheimer’s. She treats them with respect, talking directly to them, and interviews them individually which is common practice to weed out elderly abuse or neglect and I totally understand it’s necessary. She then confirms info with me. Just yesterday I recommended Dr. Vicioso to a friend, for her elderly parents. Dr. V can also switch to Spanish if necessary.
Dr. Belinda Vicioso lacked empathy and belittled my mother and me. She made me leave for an hour during the intake, which was very odd. Mom was uncomfortable alone in the room with the doctor and then they took her to get her in a wheelchair to get labs done even though the lab had already closed. The doctor never brought her back to finish her appointment or finish the intake. She never called me.
I would give no stars if I could. My mother in law is 94 and was a patient until a week ago when she slipped and injured her back. She was given an X-ray and told they could find nothing. When we talked to doctor about her pain-nothing and I mean nothing was done. The doctor actually decreased her pain medication. They told us she needed an MRI but could not get her in for another month. We just found out she has a broken pelvis from another X-ray with a much kinder and respectful physician. We have had issues with bedside manner, not listening to patient or family members and after this will be reporting Dr. Vicioso. I have read several other reviews and she clearly should not be practicing medicine or working with people. Absolutely saddened this doctor? is caring for our elderly.
Terrible doctor. Does not listen to patients or their family. She is a geriatric doctor but doesn’t care for her patients well being at all. We have left her practice for a caring and kind physician.
Not good. Wasted two appointments trying to convince my mom she needed an appliance that she didn't want. Ignored symptoms of congestive heart failure. No longer mom's doctor.
Dr. V. is wonderful. She talks directly to mom which makes mom feel important. She also works directly with our family and is a valuable player on our caregiver team. She is thorough and accessible. We are tremendously happy with her are grateful we found her.
Dr Vicioso is the worst Dr I have ever been to. I took my Mom who has Alzheimers (2012) & severe back issues to see her. I’ve been the caregiver for my Mom for 2 1/2 years. Dr V wanted nothing to do with me or listen to what I had to say about my Mom. She asked my Mom a bunch of questions and told me to stay out of it. My Mom either didn’t know the answers to the questions asked or she improvised & made up answers that were wrong. She, after 15 min, said she didn’t have Alzheimer’s. Do not take your family member to see her!

She does not care about her patients and does not listen to family concerns. She usually refers her patients to the nurse practitioner that makes up diagnosis and assumes that she knows things about the patient without listening to the family explanation. I took my mother in for dehydration and she tested her for a UTI my sweet Mother died the next day because she did not listen to the family concerns about her hydration and and did not talk to the doctor about immediate hydration. Awful

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
