I had a day surgery with Dr. Lega. Not once did I see Dr. Lega while in pre-op, after my surgery, he was called by the nurse while I was in recovery (she was concerned how my sites looked) & he never answered her call or called back, some other man reached out to my husband while he was in the waiting room. I called Dr. Legas office the following day, to report all this - he was out that day & now ...

This joke of a "doctor" touched a single spot on my back during my first and last visit. The next day he left a voicemail saying don't go to physical therapy because I needed surgery. I called back and his office had no idea what I was talking about. A month later I still had not been scheduled for surgery and my insurance was then gone. I wrote UTSW a letter, sent certified, and was told the matter was closed. Three YEARS after receiving their letter, Lega and UTSW have destroyed my credit with a $1500 dun that I NEVER RECEIVED A SINGLE BILL FOR after their letter was received. Not only is this doctor a quack, he's a liar too.
