Good place to work
If Adrian Fried is representative of Acapella as a whole - I'd steer clear of hiring anyone from there to care for my elderly loved ones. She visits a Senior Living facility where I work the front desk. Despite that fact that there is a "Masks Required" sign at the door, she walks in w/o a mask, when asked to put it on, she won't - she will only hold it up to her face then tells me to do my job and check her in calling me "Sweetie" and "honey." She slso behaves this way with my colleagues. There is no excuse for her rudeness and, among a vulnerable population, a caregiver not wearing a mask is not much on the "care" side of caregiving.
I worked for Acappella for one year before we were acquired by Caring People. I have now been with Caring People for 1.5 years. Caring People is true to our name. Everyone is passionate about helping our clients and providing the best level of care. I would recommend my family member to CP!
I have referred clients to Acappella, (now Caring people) for many years. For 17 years I was the CEO of the Presbyterian Senior care system in Dallas, and anytime a VIP needed care I would refer them to a cappella as they were simply the best. I am very particular on who I recommend and they earned my trust again and again. After retiring from the Presbyterian system, my business partner and I built and now own/operate Teresa’s House assisted-living/memory care in Craig Ranch McKinney. We promise our clients the best and so when we recommend private duty, that company is an extension of us. Of course they are now Caring People, But they continue to be my go to because I know I can count on them. Easy cases, hard cases and anything in between they get the job done. Their caregivers are not only a higher quality than we have seen from other agencies but they’re administrative support/follow up is second to none.I have Stephanie Johnson‘s number on speed dial and she responds at all times day/night/weekends when there’s a need. She is outstanding.I literally have referred two people in the last week and this is the group I would refer for my own family members.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
