I had a panniculectomy with Dr. Barcelo May 2021, I had a hemetoma and my hemoglobin went down to 4.7! A couple of weeks later I had an infection which the doctor made it seem like it was my fault. I had to use a wound vac for a couple of week! Worst experience ever! Would not recommend!

I can't say enough about Dr. Barcelo. His bedside manner is amazing. I went through 2 big procedures with him, and never regretted it once. What he did for my body is amazing, but what's he done and continues to do for little children with facial deformities seals the deal...I mean an amazing surgeon that also makes a difference that genuinely matters...yes please!

Who ever answers the phone for his office is extremely disrespectful. She was rude and I told her I wouldn't be spoken to that way to which she offered me the worst apology ever. It was more than clear she didn't care and has a huge lack of customer service skill. She needs proper training.

As a new referred patient to this surgeon- I was just told by Julie the office manager to STOP calling- she had other patients and that she was working on submitting my information to the insurance company etc. I understand that we all get busy and some times things can be overwhelming, but never should a patient be told to stop calling. This type of behavior is what causes doctor's to lose their patients. Especially if the doctor isn't aware that his or her office manager is treating their patients in the matter that I was just treated. Julie's behavior was like this when she first answered the phone. Julie's behavior was very passive aggressive, belittling and unethical to say the least and very well unappreciated. When I told her that I understood that she was busy- her response was " apparently not", because I just spoke with you last week. To make matters worse she indicated that while she was currently on the phone with me- that I was stopping her from doing her job. I work in the health care industry and I would never handle a patient in the way that Julie chose to conduct herself today. Do not ever speak to a patient in a belittling tone especially if the patient is me. I don't care if the patient is calling daily you should conduct yourself as a professional. I would hate to see what it's like to call if I was in pain or if I had a question for the doctor. Your business is only as good as the people you hire. Julie's behavior was very distasteful and now I'm questioning should I move forward with Dr. Barcelo. For the record- Julie apologized after I let it be known that she wasn't going to speak to me in that tone. Therefore, her apology wasn't sincere. I had to give star in order to write this review, but trust me after this experience - this post doesn't deserve any stars. Thank you Julie for the experience.

Dr Barcelo treated my son's injury in the ER. The doctor was sympathetic and very kind. His bedside manner paired with him informing my wife and I along the way was greatly appreciated. The follow up visit was equally impressive. His servant heart was shining... Thank you again and God bless!

I LOVE DR. BARCELO! HE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST! He is very knowledgeable and listens to your concerns/what you are trying to achieve with your visit. He is very realistic and conservative when it comes to injectables, and I have never been unhappy with any of my results! He has been doing my botox for years, and I never have a wrinkle afterwards. He also just did my lips for the first time, I was very nervous as we have all seen women who definitely went overboard. He achieved exactly what I was hoping for and I could not be happier! It is not even noticeable to those who don't know me, but it has made a huge difference for me! I can finally wear lipstick and it not be all over my face, lol.I would definitely recommend him to anyone considering anything in his scope of practice! I live in Austin, and go see him when I come back to Dallas to see my family. I have also never had any difficulty getting an appointment, even the day of sometimes!HE IS THE BEST! Go see him!
