On my very first visit I came into his office in excruciating pain from my lower back and I can honestly say that I left ALL of the back pain there without having to undergo surgery or any major outpatient procedures and it gets even better because totally to my surprise, I was able to receive medical weight loss treatment during this same visit so now I no longer have to wait until October (6 months away) to be able to see some other weight loss management physician who could not see me until October. It’s been 6 days now since my last appointment with Dr. Bugarin and with pain free excitement I can tell you that yes my lover back feel so much better and I have full confidence in Dr. Bugarin, looking forward to returning and improving my health through his care.

I can’t thank Central Medical enough for the incredible care I received. For over 5 years, I suffered from severe pain and numbness in both feet, which greatly affected my quality of life. I had seen two different podiatrists, but neither could identify the issue. The second doctor referred me to UT Southwestern Neurology and Muscle Department, where I underwent nerve and muscle testing (NEMG), but the results were normal. Unfortunately, I was placed on multiple medications that didn’t help, and they were preparing to send me to pain management. Then I found Dr. B and Sylvia at Central Medical, and my experience was nothing short of amazing. They treated me with compassion and expertise, correctly diagnosing me with severe plantar fasciitis. Their treatment plan was effective, and my quality of life has improved tremendously. Best of all, I no longer need to take any medications! Thank you so much, Dr. B and Sylvia, for giving me my life back!

I am so impressed with the treatment I have received from Central Medical!! They truly care about their patients and they never make you feel like a nuisance!! You can’t go wrong with Central Medical!!! All of their staff are great!! Sylvia is a Nurse Practitioner and is a lot smarter than a lot of the doctors I’ve seen over the years!! I trust her completely!!

I have never been a big fan of going to a doctors office, dentist, hospital for pretty much anything. The staff here at central medical center really do take care of you and make sure they address all of your concerns. I have had a number of appointments here and never leave this place not having learned something new which is great. I would highly recommend this place to any and all people who are looking to improve their general health, or just to get a regular little appointment going.

Central Medical Center is not your typical facility, but in the best way possible. Every single person that works there cares about you. They also seem to genuinely like being there. You know how when a workplace has good morale, you can tell that the vibes are good? That’s what you get here every single time. This is not an exaggeration. I’m a 38 year old woman with a complex and complicated medical history. I’ve seen many practitioners and body workers, and what this place has to offer is truly unique. Because they’re so different, their services will probably be unlike most things you’re used to. So, it can feel a bit confusing and even offputting when you first go there. That’s what happens to me, and I have a pretty open mind. I went back because Dr. B had really great reviews. It seems like he was the kind of person who could help me, so I didn’t want to write them off just because my first experience wasn’t what I expected. No system or business is perfect. But anything this place lacks, they far make up for it in their care, treatment, enthusiasm, and general goodwill. I look forward to going there every week. If I don’t go, my body feels it. This is why I will keep going there for as long as time will allow. I would write a review on every person there if I could. But, I’ll just give you some highlights for the sake of brevity. Anyone I don’t mention, it’s not because they don’t also deserve stellar feedback. I’ll start with Dr. B: When he first met me, I was miserable. I was displeased with having to wait, but only because it seemed like they forgot about me. Not only did he sincerely apologize, but he also took the time to sit with me and hear me explain just the tip of the iceberg of what was wrong with me. He told me that he really hoped that I came back because he really wanted to help me and I believed him. I’ve been seen seeing Dr. B for over a year now and I can stay with confidence that his positive reviews are not exaggerated or untruthful. He is really good at what he does. It’s cool too because he has a background in injury rehab rehabilitation, so he really understands how to provide true care. Now for Sylvia: Not a lot of people can make me giggle AND blush. Sylvia is one of those special kind of people that can do just that. But her boosting my ego is just a bonus. No shade to doctors, but they say nurses are the heart of healthcare. Sylvia embodies this ideal in every way. She has taken the time to not only listen and empathize, but to really try and understand the way my very complicated and confusing condition affects my body. Then, she tries to help. Sounds simple, but so many doctors punt me off to another because they feel they can’t help me. Last but absolutely not least, Darla: Oh, Darla. Sweet, sweet Darla. Don’t let her cute and quirky demeanor fool you. Her hands do more than pain killers and anti-anxiety meds combined. I have chronic pain and cement muscles and tendons. When Darla is done with me, my pain level is zero. ZERO. It’s short lived, unfortunately, because my body insists on screwing with me. But in those glorious moments before I have to leave, I get to experience what “normal” people feel every day. I’m not bitter or jealous. Super happy for all you freaks. No, I’m playing. I’m 100% jealous. And Darla gives me the gift of getting to experience what it feels like to be pain-free, even if just for a little while. If anyone ever comes for her, you’ll have to fight me. And I’ve got nothing to lose…. Anyways, Darla, I’d move mountains for you, girl ♥️

After spending the last 9 years with chronic lower back and hip pain, I FINALLY convinced my husband to seek the care of N.P. Sylvia and Dr. Bugarin. They took the time to sit down and speak with him about his laundry list of symptoms, run appropriate tests, and get the imaging needed to truly get down to the root of all his issues. When we first went in, I was very honest with them, we were expecting him to need procedures and injections, however we know our insurance policy requires a certain number of conservative treatments prior to getting those things done, so this was supposed to be a 1st step in a long process kind of thing for us. But, between the physical therapy they offer in the office, and adjustments with Dr. Bugarin, my husband is living a pain-free life and it’s all thanks to them! Not to mention the insight N.P. Sylvia was able to give us into what exactly was going on with my husband’s health and why he felt so crummy all the time. She quickly found he was (unbeknownst to him) a type 2 diabetic with an A1C of OVER 15.5, with his bad cholesterol at over 1,800!! No wonder he felt so terrible, he was a heart attack waiting to happen. In 3 months’ time, by following Sylvia’s treatment plan and lifestyle changes, he is now very proudly back down to a 5.8 A1C, and on a well regulated regime that will has brought his health all the way back into center and where he needs to be! We are BEYOND grateful to N.P. Sylvia for everything she has done for him and his health. We cannot recommend her enough!
