I feel like no facility can be 5 star to everyone all the time... but they come as close as you can get. I've taken my mom there making a 3 hr drive for me to get them there . I feel like utsw hospital is the reason shes still here. Bronchiatis with half a lung,never smoked. Broken ribs collarbone T7 fracture. Shes 85 . My aunt deaf as a post cochlear implant utsw did that. I get to talk to her again she gets to hear birds and music and laughter priceless...i have utmost gratitude and respect for this hospital and its drs,nurses,p.a.s,aides even the support service people are good. Two thumbs up!

UT Southwestern has a horrible staff working the front desk. They skip over patients and fold to patients that constantly come to their desk and complain. I am here now. I've been here 6 hrs. I was told 5 patients were ahead of me. An annoying patients went to the desk and was told 8 patients were ahead of her. She kept complaining but the nurses wouldn't budge. However she waited until a counterperson took over and by the way they were from the same country listening to them talk. She took the annoying woman back immediately. Her excuse to me was that she has been here 5 hrs. I told her I've been here 6. The counterperson name is the Susan S. She needs to be reprimanded

ER wait is ridiculous

Refused to help, doctor was arrogant and wouldn't listen, scammed into paying for tests when our insurance covers them.

I literally hate coming here, but my son's doctors are affiliated here. The ER staff shows no compassion and is very unconcerned which is disheartening for a hospital. My son has sickle cell anemia and he is not treated like patients with other blood disorders. I wish that they would educate their staff on the urgency as we wait at least 8 hours each time and we are there frequently.

UT Southwestern has the worst Emergency Department I have EVER experienced. My 79 year old mother almost died in their bathroom when she bled out from her rectum because they didn’t concern themselves with her dire situation. My 83 year old father and I drove her to the hospital because they thought it would be faster getting there. The ED nurses checked her in and then told her it would be 8 hours, at least, before she could be seen. Within 10 minutes of being there, I took my mother to the bathroom where she lost more blood and passed out while sitting on the toilet. I had to leave her and run get a “nurse” for help. As several of them took their time deciding who would be the lucky one to go, my mother was dying in the bathroom! When we, me an 2 “nurses”, made it to the bathroom my mother was completely passed out from blood loss and near death. The 2 nurses, 1 male and 1 female, couldn’t revive her and couldn’t get her up so the male went to get help. They finally believed her, brought several other “nurses” and a gurney and we were running down the hallway rushing down the hallway to save her life. This could have all been prevented if the ED “nurses” would have listened!!! Do not use this ED!!

UT Southwestern Medical Center Orthopaedic Surgery Clinic - George T. Liu It is exactly one week after foot surgery and I haven't been able to get in contact with anyone on the medical staff or have a prescription sent to the pharmacy. No luck getting a medical response after contacting customer support via phone, email, mobile app or web interface. Customer service team is friendly but the medical team that needs to follow-up on the requests are MIA Surgery Waiting Period: 5 Stars Day of surgery staff: 5 Stars 2+ days after surgery: 1 star (because there is no 0 start option)

I will be forever grateful for Dr. Randal Hughes and Dr. Lucien Nedzi's knowledge, professionalism and meticulous care for my late husband F. W. Dunn. Your medical skills extended his life and gave us the most precious gift imaginable....our love and time for us to enjoy life with him. Thank you all so much!

All good except valet parking…..

The nurses are nice and very attentive to my mom. We are on the 8th floor and they have only cleaned the waiting room once in a week. You want us to wear mask in a dirty facility make it make sense. But medically it's a great place
