I selected him based on his credentials. I had BHP with slightly diminished urine flow. 16 years ago I had a successful laser treatment. I visited him to receive a similar treatment. He claimed that my prostrate was too large for the TURP procedure. He insisted that I needed a partial prostatectomy. He apparently was too busy to fully explain the procedure yet he warned me to not go to the internet for more information. I was given no warning regarding potential negative ramifications. After 2 unsuccessful surgeries by him I now am incontinent and use 7 or 8 pads per day to collect the leakage. I wake up on the average of 7 times per night to urinate. He now recommends a 3rd surgical attempt to resolve the problem. I have now found a new urologist to correct his inept surgeries. Furthermore I have no legal recourse because Texas law does not allow state employees to be sued. He is employed by UT Southwestern, a state-run hospital. STAY AWAY!

Wish I had gone to THIS Dr,THIS Hospital group before anyone else.Shop your Dr on this cause some really bad clinics around.I`d been in a really bad one near Methodist....who messed me up.Especially on Urolift.Also,instructions fr THAT clinic AND Methodist Hosp post care was just WRONG..!!

I am sure his accolades are well deserved...but there is a huge communication disconnect between patient and doctor because of his staff.

Dr. Roehrborn performed a radial prostate removal for me in October 2020. He also corrected a problem created by another surgeon from a previous surgery. I thank God for Dr. Roehrborn’s professionalism and expertise.

First visit for very large prostate (BPH) from out of town. Got to clinic 1 hour earlier than appt and was seen right away. Dr. Roehrborn conducted 3 tests that were never performed by any other medical centers in my area, and he was able to determine best procedure for my condition. Provided documentation on procedure and did some further research on what to expect. Plenty of info on YouTube.

This Dr. took excellent care of my dad and went over and above to help with any and every aspect before, during and after surgery. I know each person’s journey is different medically but I could not imagine Dr Clause being anything less than awesome to anyone. My dad is now cancer free and is recovering excellently at 76 years old.

Many years ago my husband was seriously sick. His illness was in the exact field of Dr. Roehrborn knowledge. The way to him was long and hard- I had to see many a "specialists" urologists before trough some people I knew, I learned the name of our Doctor-whom we forever now call our God. He did surgeries and after them took the best care of my spouse. We wish him the best of health and happiness for many years to come !!
