I went to Dr. Simmang when diagnosed with a tumor in my colon. He carefully reviewed my records, asked great questions and listened attentively and then carefully explained the surgery needed. His bedside manner was warm and comforting. I'm forever grateful for his excellent care.

I'm not sure I would be here today if it wasn't for Dr. Clifford Simmang and his team. He recently removed cancer tumors from my appendix and colon. I was praying before the surgery and when I met Dr. Simmang I instantly knew he was a man of faith and I didn't want anyone else operating. He explained everything in detail and then during the colon surgery found the appendix cancer and removed it. After surgery, he provided excellent care, explained everything so I could understand what was going on, and gave me so much hope. My recovery went great and my follow-up appointment was virtual since I am not from Texas. On the follow up he explained everything again, answered my questions, looked at my incision, and when I got off the appointment I again felt so much hope. I wish Dr. Simmang was in Tulsa so I could keep him on my team.

Wonderful doctor! Took the time to explain procedures to my friends and family also. A complete blockage taking me to ER then emergency surgery the next day! A trying time to have an excellent and thoughtful doctor and staff. Keri, one of his nurses, is the best! Always there to explain procedures and help with appliances.

Dr. Simmang and his staff are the best! My husband and I have the up most respect and gratitude for TCR and Baylor Scott & white hospital. Everyone was so caring and respectful. If you have any colon or lower GI issues, I would highly recommend TCR, and Dr. Simmang.

Dr. Simmang is the BEST! After several failed surgeries and feeling hopeless, I was referred to Dr. Simmang. He was so kind, professional and explained everything to me. He even met with the "Team" before surgery to go over all the details of my 6.5 hour operation. I can tell you from experience, he is the best at what he does. I will always be forever grateful.

I had some very painful rectal issues that had me in tears! Dr Simmang diagnosed me quickly and scheduled surgery for the very next day. He did a wonderful job! His staff is very very courteous and friendly and comforting. I would highly recommend Dr Simmang if you have any colo rectal issues. I can’t say enough good things about him and his staff!!

I have known Dr. Simmang since August of 1999 when I was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer. He is the most competent and caring surgeon you will ever find. If you need any thing from a colonoscopy to the most major of surgeries, this is the Doctor you want to do it. My surgery was one of the most complex that you can have. If you can find a better surgeon than him, good luck with that. He has always made me feel as if we are friends and treated me with the utmost care and understanding.
