I'm going on 6 weeks since my Halo laser. Absolutely love my results. Dr. Antonetti and Brooklyn were amazing. They made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. Unbelievable results! As a child growing up in Florida in the 60's, 70's until the 1990's I spent most of my time at the beach. I had extensive sun damage on my face and body. I booked an appointment with Dr. Antonetti for the Halo skin resurfacing procedure for my face. Dr. Antonetti could not have been nicer. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions regarding the process. The Dr. did not rush me in and out of the waiting area as so many Drs. are apt to do. After a week the results were absolutely amazing. Gone were the unsightly brown spots, blotches, liver spots, broken capillaries and uneven skin texture. I swear it took ten to fifteen years off my age. I ran into people I had not seen in months and everyone of them asked, "What did you do to your my skin?" They could not believe how much younger I looked. Granted, I am blonde and blue eyed and apparently the Halo procedure works best on my skin type. If you don't believe me, check it out. I had purchased a Groupon for 3 sessions of BBL laser treatment for melasma. I was greeted by Lexi and after completing paperwork, she and I had discussed how I was not a good candidate. I am of Asian descent and although I appear fair in complexion, my skin tone/Fitzpatrick score is actually one for darker complexions. As I was not a good candidate for this procedure, Lexi was so informative and helpful in suggesting alternatives (services and skin care products). Per her advice, I purchased several skincare products and incorporated them into my regimen. She suggested a light product with retinol, balanced by gentle cleansers and skin lightening moisturizers. Lexi was very, very thorough and detailed in explaining a routine to help minimize the appearance of those pesky dark spots. I waited to try the products for an entire month before offering to leave this review and I am so pleased with the results! My skin is less mottled by melasma spots on my upper cheeks and my overall skin tone is not only brighter, but even clearer as well! I'm very pleased that I met Lexi and that she so patiently explained as to why I was prone to melasma and why I wasn't a good candidate for bbl laser. She didn't leave me empty handed though and was so extremely sweet to offer me samples of products better suited for my skin concerns.
