Possibly the most laid back pain doctor that I have met. He truly cares about his patients and the pain that affects their life. And he will treat it accordingly. He is not a quack, and he knows his stuff very well, but he also knows when you are in pain. These are the doctors we need out there, I am very happy with Dr. Schuchmacher.
I had a first time patient appointment scheduled. I called a week prior to cancel and left a message. A week later they called to confirm the apt. I called back and left a message I'm sure they won't get it but the problem is no one answers the phone nor do they return phone calls. I do not want to go to a business especially a health provider that doesn't answer their phone. Unprofessional and it doesn't make me feel confident in this business. So if yall are reading this I tried canceling twice a week apart. I'm not coming.
1st of March, I have a VM to call about insurance. No longer taking WC. Did I want to use private insurance? But if course, NOT. I returned the call, left a VM, twice, fire a return call.... STILL waiting. Picking up the phone to return a VM is not hard. Bit don't so is RUDE. And they do not care!
These clowns have nobody answering their phone nobody returning phone calls The call is dropped while you're leaving a message I even sent a fax that was confirmed requesting a phone call for an appointment nothing. Avoid these uncaring yahoos
I was 13 minutes late for my appointment, one other person in the waiting room and they tell me I have to reschedule. I have sat in the waiting room way pass my appointment time and only got a “sorry, we’re running a little behind”. Time for a new Dr.
Been trying to schedule an appointment for over two weeks now. Can never reach anyone and the scheduling dept don’t return calls when u leave a voicemail. My neurosurgeon referred me here and i am in severe pain
Dr. Schumacher is a life saver and I’m riding my motorcycle again. Thank you !!!
Marcy (nurse at DPC) is the best. She really helped me settle my nerves and her smile calmed me. Being sedated for a procedure is not a very fun thing, but Marcy really helped me settle and prepare. She does her job very well explaining everything very well along the way.
I needed to find a new doctor since the doctor I have seen for 10 years was not on any of the new plans I had access to. I scheduled an appointment about one month ahead of time. They called an hour before my scheduled appointment to tell me they finally reviewed the detailed information I provided as soon as my appointment was scheduled. A month ago! They advised me they will not prescribe the medication I am on and have been on for almost ten years. I have managed to radically reduce the dose over that time, but it the only thing that works to control my pain. I’m out of medication and they called me an hour before my appointment to say. Sorry. Our bad, but we won’t prescribe that medication. A pain management doctor that refuses to prescribe a common pain medication. It would have been fine if they told me that immediately. It would have given me time to find a new doctor. I am so frustrated and cannot rate this practice low enough. I provided them timely information and they did not provide a timely response. Stay away from this practice. Now I’m reading from many other patients that have also had issues with this practice.
Pain management office at methodist is horrible. All they want is money of course and unprofessional staff like billing dept. Sara and stormy the manager of course they take sides Rude rude ppl. Do not go there or you will lose your money and no help. They just give you more pain!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
