List of David Khan Md's Reviews
Dr. Khan is one of the smartest and nicest doctors I’ve ever been to. He has been the only doctor that could control the chronic hives that I had battled for 25 years before I found him. Great doctor.
I made an appointment to see Dr.Khan ,allergist in UT Southwestern. It was a waste of time and money. He said there was no cure for my contact allergies and recommended to see a specialist in dermatology. If I had known this, I would have gone straight to dermatology. My Dr talked highly of UT Southwestern, so, I thought, why not? My husband warned me, he was like, they probably will tell you they can't help you. Well, he was correct unfortunately. Don't waste your time or money. The reviews are low for a reason . I should have paid attention to the reviews.
To start with, introducing yourself with a damp and limp handshake is GROSS!! To insist I tell him EVERY specific drug I have ever had a reaction to in 50 years is insane. Bet he couldn't give me a list of all of the drugs he has ever taken. If I haven't been diagnosed by an allergist as allergic to something, then I'm not really allergic to it?! Or if I didn't test positive to it by a skin test, I'm not officially allergic to it? Really?! Like I've had the same allergist since I was 12 and he can't teach me how to figure out my allergens by process of elimination/elimination diet? Please! And not only does he seem to not believe in brain rearions, but admitted he didn't know anything about rebuilding my immune system. Nor does he know what MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity) is. As another reviewer said, "I wouldn't take my dog to him."

I needed help recovering from two years of overwhelming and ongoing allergic reactions, I didn't and won't find it here. My favorite allergist that has helped me the most has retired (he is 80+) and "Dr." Khan will NOT be the next.
UTSW is a great place great doctors recommend to anyone.
I have been going to Dr. Khan for 20 years and he has helped me tremendously with my allergies and asthma. He always patiently answers my questions and concerns. I highly recommend him. It may take awhile to get an appointment but it's worth the wait! I don't mind waiting if he's running late b/c I know it's b/c he's spending a little extra needed time with a patient or patients before me.
Dr. Kahn is a fantastic, knowledgeable, and caring doctor. He has helped me manage chronic hives for many years. There is no better doctor to see for this condition.
Dr Khan saved my life

I was referred to Dr. Khan by my GI doctor who wanted to rule out food allergies. My appointment was at 3 PM and I was not seen by the doctor until 5 PM. At that point, he told me that based on my history and previous tests done by my GI doctor, I was not a candidate for allergy testing. Then I received a bill for $520 for this visit. I've never been charged that much for an office consultation, specialist or not. Will not be returning or recommending this doctor to anyone else after this experience.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
