List of David Weakley Md's Reviews
Dr. Weakly is ok and professional. His staff/office management is a complete disaster. They are unorganized. The scheduled and rescheduled my surgery 4 times. Find another doctor- it’s not worth the hassle.
I had a surgery with Dr. Weakley last January. I did like his staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. I feel like he did a great job and I’ve gotten the result close to what I needed. My condition can’t be fixed but what he did definitely made it a lot better. He did take his time at my last check up appointment and he seemed like a pretty nice person to talk to too. :)
Rude and Impatient
Baby was diagnosed with 4th cranial nerve palsy (right eye shooting up). After meeting with every surgeon in town we picked Weakley because the top two other contenders both had studied under him and he has an amazing wealth of experience. I was so nervous about putting my baby to sleep and outcome of surgery. It’s a miracle her eyes and head are straight now and I am so grateful to Dr Weakley. He ...
My son has been seeing Dr. Weakley for 11 years. He is very straightforward and doesn't sugar coat things. By far the best Ophthalmologist ever. I always recommend him to anyone in need of child Ophthalmologist.
excellent service and welcoming environment
Excellent professional and explain clearly any health related information
Dr. Weasley has been seeing my daughter for about 4 years now. He has also performed a successful eye surgery on her. He has always explained any issues and has helped me to better understand anything I wanted to know. I highly recommend him!
Our daughter has a birth defect that made her left tear duct very, very narrow & kinks out to the side. To say that it’s been difficult to see her struggle with this tear duct & having to pry it open every morning since she was born (she’s 2.5 now) has been tough. We’ve had 2 surgeries with our local pediatric eye specialist in our town & they’ve done nothing to help her, the physician was not giving us straight answers, etc. Not only that, the physician is awful & the office is poorly run. Our breaking point was when our daughter’s tear duct began bleeding one day & the local pediatric eye specialist we’d been seeing didn’t even want to see her! Cut to being referred to Dr. Weakly. From the moment we were connected with him & his office, it has been WORLD’s different! They have been beyond wonderful, kind, caring, communicative, & we actually get straight answers. We saw him yesterday & were blown away by how quickly we were seen & that he & his team actually listened to us & had our daughters best interests & comfort at heart. Let’s just say this mama was in tears & beyond grateful. We will forever be fans of Dr. Weakly’s & his staff & know that her upcoming surgery has her in good hands!
The office manager never calls you back and the staff is so incompetent. They don’t verify insurance and show very little interest in helping.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
