Farrukh T. Awan is a horrible doctor. Horrible bedside manner and a mental basket case. He has a Mercury Vac System that he uses for particular patients in order to sabotage their care/health. This CLL doctor orders colonospies for Chronic Lymphoma Leukemia patients in order to implant his Mercury Vac System. He ordered a colonoscopy for me in November 2021 and he joined my appointed colonoscopy physician Dr. B. I only visited this doctor from October 2021 til January 2022 because of his poor lack of care and professionalism; however, 3 years later I am being hurt and he's trying to kill me via his Mercury Vac System. He goes around telling people we've dated and I absolutely do NOT know him personally, ( Only as a PATIENT)! He talks 24 /7 via his Mercury Vac System and I guess he thinks breaking the law is his personal connection to me; even though I'm being violated severely physically and emotionally. Both local police and the FBI have been notified and are clearly aware!

Every call starts with a count down. 15,14,13,12 and so on. After reaching #1, you are sent to an answering service where the countdown begins again. Once reaching #1 in that system, you are immediately disconnected.

I was a patient of the Headache clinic and also saw a neurologist here. The neurologist left the UTSW system to start her own clinic. She does not take insurance. UTSW is not absorbing her patients- leaving me to find a new neurologist and being without migraine medication as well. Add this to the fact that their POTS clinic would diagnose but not treat, and it is super frustrating. I used to sing their praises- but now not so much.

I took my sister to the emergency at UT Southwestern today and the screnneing attendant there said they do not accept people without insurance. So I this is inhumane. Thanks God for Medical City ,they just got her in and she is being treated

Urology. Doctor harmed me in so many ways with mesh surgery I have it all documented like a lawyer would. The only thing their management was willing to talk to me about was legal issues. I called the president's office, Daniel Podolsky. Only his assistants would talk to me. I emailed him my entire portfolio. He would never come to the phone and one of the assistants actually blocked my phone number. UTSW hasmany great doctors unfortunately the urologist is not one of them. Podolsky could help us, but I guess these days it's just all about the money. He knows there was Medical malpractice so he just ignores us. Obviously, if he thought there was no case, he wouldn't be so cowardly.

ZERO communication, trying to schedule a colonoscopy has been absolute hell!!!!! Not sure what's going on but I've always had great experiences with UTSW but this time has me totally 2nd guessing my decision for my primary care!

They don't care about you in the outpatient clinics. The billboards around town are a JOKE "best hospital in DFW"...NOPE!!! Drs are rude and patient assistance office does not help...waiting 3 months for response. They will NOT let you change doctors if you have 1 visit with them...so be CAREFUL and pick the right doctor from start...or better yet...go somewhere else and let that other place/dr make money....UTSW has the WORST care...they are only in it for image/ads not in real practice.

Constant runaround on the phone with no phone numbers or access to people who don't put you right back into the UTSW recorded phone loop. Unnecessarily complex process to request medical records and then it's all handled by a third papery who doesn't know what's going on. This place is so average.

I have had to sit in the ER with my wife for the last 8 hours with ZERO communication. once my wife was finally brought back they spoke to her once in the first 2 hours. I DONT CARE HOW BUSY YOU ARE THATS UNNACCEPTABLE. if you take someone back that is because you are ready to take care of them. we saw many doctors and staff chit chatting while people were screaming for some help. I broke up two conversations personally after asking for someone to please see my wife. all they did to every patient around us was push pills and go. where are the doctors and nurses that want to take care of their patients today. doesn't matter how smart you think you are when you sit on your thumb all day. save your social chit chats for outside the place where people are dying and needing serious help. Thanks so much UTSW! You guys are terrible!

I have deep respect for healthcare workers, which makes this review difficult to write. I watched my immunocompromised loved one be left in an ER hallway for over 24 hours, despite being told from the start that they would be admitted. We understand how demanding this line of work is, but it's crucial for administration and staff to remember that they are treating people, not numbers. If you have the option, I urge you to consider seeking care elsewhere--or be prepared to advocate fiercely for yourself and your loved ones. That said, no place is without flaws, and there was one feature we appreciated: the on-site pharmacy. It was convenient to have medications filled before leaving, which saved us an extra trip during an already stressful time.
