List of Devesh Ramnath's Reviews
Dr. Ramnath and his are always so nice. He is very good about listening to me and answering my questions. I think he is a very good Orthopedic Surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a good Orthopedic Surgeon.
I met with Dr. Ramnath for the second time recently. My first visit 6 months ago was quick and simple. The second visit (an important one), however, was an absolutely terrible experience. Dr. Ramnath did not show any care, concern, or empathy. He stated facts (about surgery and my injury) that were simply and unarguably wrong. He was extremely opinionated, and his mind was made up on what care I should have before even speaking with me. When I asked for alternative solutions to the problem he had absolutely no answers other than to ultimately suffer in pain. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. The BSW system is wonderful and I've been in it a long time. Ramnath is an exception to their typical fantastic quality of doctors.
Dr. Ramnath performed a lower level spinal fusion on me in October 2010. I’ve had several friends who had similar procedures done and I can say without a doubt my results were far better. I know each individual is different as are their cases. What I can say is that the attention to detail before & after the procedure were second to none. I did follow his and my therapists recovery schedule & was really back to normal and still am a decade later. I would highly recommend Dr Ramnath & I can’t thank him enough for how well he & his team did.
I was refused a follow up visit after breaking 3 vertebrae because I have a disability that prevents me from wearing a mask. I had a face shield on, which I wear to all other Dr. Visits, including an oncologist. I even wore it at my first visit here. While attempting to check in, however, a male nurse did not have his mask on correctly, as it was under his nose.
My wife had a triple laminectomy and a diskectomy at the same time. She had been miserable off and on for at least 10 years. The same day as the surgery, her pain level had improved greatly and she was able to walk 100 ft. The next day she walked 200 feet. It's been over two weeks now and she has little to no pain and the numbness has improved. Dr. Ramnath's only performed surgery as a last resort which I appreciate. I would HIGHLY recommend him.
Dr Ramnath was extremely imformative of the surgery I would require and made me feel very comfortable and at ease with the care that would be provided.
Dr. Ramnath is an excellent surgeon and my surgery was successful. However, he is so busy that I did not meet him until five minutes before my surgery. His PA's are excellent and I appreciate them. The doctor, however, does not have a good patient relationship and dismissed my feedback on my follow up visit.
working with him on back and neck issues. he has sent me to a very good physical therapist.
Dr. Ramnath is a great a physician. I have low back pain and have had it for 7 years. At a time I was thinking I needed a Lumbar Fusion because I was told I needed it by another spine surgeon. Dr. Ramnath offered injections that he would perform, along with PT and weight loss. I still have pain time to time but he saved me from having a unnecessary surgery. Plus, my injection helped relieve my pain almost immediately.
He is thorough and great bedside manner. He doesn't push you but discusses with you and gives his recommendations.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
