Dr Dickson did my surgery at JPS in 2013. I have 14 fused vertebra. My surgery was nothing less than a work of art. I walk, run jump and dance. He is amazing
I seem Dr. Dixon years ago. My experience with him was very helpful inspiring he was very caring and believe in Jesus Christ I love that about him I wouldn't stop smoking so he didn't do my surgery I believe that was a good choice that he made not to operate on me with all the Niger thing I had in my body so that show he care about his patient
Very attentive and Professional Caring And he had good reviews. Spiritual I'm good at recognizing a person of good character.
Recently had a hospital stay for compression fracture of # 2lumbar. Got appointed Dr. Dickson for my follow up appointment. I am 6 litres oxygen dependant. The clinic staff said they could furnish me with oxygen while I was there. Had to fill out paperwork once I got there after filling lengthy paperwork online days before appointment. Nurse called me back for weight and vitals. While waiting on Dr., a nurse brings in oxygen and tells me I can only have 3 liters for my stay there. I ask to speak to Dr. He comes in and tells me he'll get me out quickly so I won't run out of oxygen, and I won't have to see him anymore. Told me I did not have fracture of 2 lumbar as hospital( Clements- UTSW) had said. Sent me on my way. Wouldn't even give this Dr. Or clinic 1 star but it was o nly way I could leave a review. Was very disappointed in this visit. Sure wasn't worth my $25 co-pay!
i had back surgery on wednesday and i’m doing fine he i very good i would recommend him any time thanks for your help
Went expecting to be scheduled for a spinal fusion but found out it would not correct my condition. Very impressed that Dr. Dickson did not just do a surgery because it was what I wanted. He gave clear reasons for his decision and offered alternative treatment. I was touched when he offered to pray with me. I appreciate being treated like a human being and not a dollar sign.
The worst physician I have ever encountered. He left me in extreme pain with loose screws in my back with no options.
I was referred to Dr Dickson and drove 5 hours one way to see him. His staff was very helpful and caring. I didnt have to wait long to see Dr Dickson or for him to come in the room. He is my definition of what a Dr should be. He explained everything very throughly and when he was done he then asked me if I had any questions and he answered them for me without hesistation. Then he asked if he could pray with me and I agreed. Im super impressed with him. Will definitely go back to see him again.
I left the office wondering if he would have talked that way to me if I was a man.
How refreshing to have a surgeon who is caring and truly demonstrates a love for people and his profession.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
