I typically never leave reviews, but I do not recommend Henderson Family Dental. When I went in for a cleaning, the doctor pushed additional treatments. When I stated that I only wanted a cleaning, I was later charged for a separate “dental exam.” When I called to question the charge, because I know I have good dental insurance, I was told that I needed to contact my insurance company myself. The staff member I spoke with was rude and repeatedly cut me off while I was trying to understand the difference between a cleaning and a dental exam. Mind you I only went in for a cleaning so the upcharge for a dental exam confused me and I needed clarification. Throughout the entire process, I confirmed with both the front desk and the hygienist that my cleaning would be covered. Unfortunately, the front desk staff are consistently dismissive, rude, will cut you off while you're speaking and are unwilling to share benefit verification ahead of time (even though I called before my appointment and right before they took me in to ask if my cleaning will be covered). The doctors are nice, but the front office staff are extremely rude, difficult to work with, and getting clear, helpful information from them is challenging.
