Fantastic doctor. Very wise, passionate about his patients health and cares enough to show it. He is honest and upfront. Feels strongly that his patient is doing their part in taking care of their health. Very quickly on top of things. Can multi-task without a blink. Throughly reviews your patient history to implement a health care plan for you. One of the kindest Doctors who will look you in the eyes; that I have seen in a long while. He was referred to me based on my personal self having common ground with his beliefs. Best referral ever!He is a pleasure to visit with, talk to, and learn from. One to trust. Rare find. During a gap of follow ups, I decided to make another appointment, after the Covid died down some.I intended all along to reunite, and purely out of choice, because his first impression was over the top, and I knew my care would be safe with him, and I would feel secure and confident in giving over my health for him to provide his best. I can be stubborn sometimes in my personal beliefs on medicine. But even if he can't bend my thinking on some matters. He is still the one I want to monitor me for particular health issues as time goes on. His office is clean, and the staff are friendly enough. I wish I could roll all my Doctors into just this one. 👍🌟

The most knowledgeable, human and compassionate oncologist I’ve ever seen. He helped my mom live longer, and when 5 months after her death I was diagnosed, he took me under his wings. He combines important factors like nutrition and exercise with the latest oncology treatments, and treats every patient as if he is treating a dear family member. Some reviews are negative because he is very honest and direct - your weight has a lot to do with you health and your cancer, and if you’re over weight, he’d say right out to save your life, rather than protecting your sensitivity at the price of your health - and if he proceeds to exam you while talking, it’s because he wants to spend the most time with you rathe than wasting time getting a PA in/out. He spends a food amount of time with patients which is a very valuable thing. He is an amazing man, a great doctor, and a wonderful friend through the hard journey of cancer.

This was my yearly follow-up check after treatment for lymphoma in 2014/15. Dr. Olivares goes through all of my blood work and explains things so I can understand the results. He is a very good listener and answers all my questions. Dr. Olivares is also very thorough and quite passionate about my overall health. I highly, highly recommend him and his wonderful staff.
