I saw another Oncologist for 6 years before switching to Dr Lohrey. My only regret is taking so long to switch. Dr Lohrey is outstanding in all respects (I'm a retired RN). Great demeanor & bedside manner. Unrivaled treatment options on the DFW area supported everything UTSW has to offer including clinical trials. I love the UTSW Moncrief Center in Ft Worth. It's so much better than my former... Operations and very organized and patient-centric. The MyChart portal makes it easy to communicate, schedule appointments, request Rx refills, and conduct video-conference (telemedicine) appointments. I can't say enough good things. about Dr Lohrey and UTSW. NOTE: If you have to visit the Dallas UTSW campus - go to their web site and check out the campus maps BEFORE your visit to figure out exactly where you're going.. The Dallas campus covers 4 city blocks. Valet parking is strongly recommended for the first visit. ($5)

I expected him to be a fighter someone to say we can help you ! not save my life but at least prolong my life with a little confidence this man can not give you a professional opinion or a guess it’s all just I don’t know after months of testing I left without any answers I feel like he is only a doctor to the patients he can save without a doubt for the ones he isn’t sure about he treats them like he doesn’t want to and with cancer you need someone that is going to have confidence and faith in his own medicines and self .

Really didn't know what to expect. I had already had a bad experience with a previous oncologist. Dr. Lohrey, (pronounced Low-rye), was supremely professional, kind, energetic, empathetic, awesome listener, and overall awesome human being. I could not ask for a better doctor. He was amazing! God sent this doctor just for me!
