I had a great experience with Dr. John Waters. I had to get one of my ribs partially removed due to a potential cancer scare, and him and his team were fantastic throughout the whole process. The process from pre-surgery to post-surgery was seamless, and Dr. Waters was there for me throughout the whole procedure in a very positive and professional manner. I would not recommend this physician. Not only did he misdiagnose my mother multiple times but his arrogance and bedside manners were very upsetting to my mother. If I could give zero stars I would.

Zero stars for this doctor. A year ago (2/2020) my mother first became a patient of Dr John Waters at Baylor Heart Hospital. She had multiple pleural effusions. After the 3rd hospital visit Dr Waters could not come up with a true diagnosis so he came up with the thought she asperating from her neck surgery (even though the neck surgeon said not possible) and the last visit in May, he wanted to put ...

Dr. Waters is highly skilled, knowledgeable, precise, physician and surgeon. He's very intelligent and engaging. He explains procedure and answers patient's question in an exact manner. He's patient and doesn't make his patient feel rushed. He's empathetic and compassionate. Dr. Waters is the type of physician and surgeon you would always want to be his patient. Personally, when I came to Dr.Waters I was unknowingly a very ill patient and facing death. I had no idea that my condition had deteriorated to his point. To make a long story short Dr. Waters saved my life. I saw Dr. Waters for four months get in the trenches and fight for my life. He actually care what happened to me. He excelled beyond any of my previous experiences. He also gave my mom I feeling of peace. After my last surgery his colleagues four to be exact came to my room and was surprised I was alive. The look on their faces said it all. Kudos to Dr.Waters! Thank you for everything.

Dr. Waters is an outstanding doctor. He's knowledgable and precise. He explains details regarding a patient health very well. Dr. Waters listens and his appointments are never rushed. Dr. Waters cares very much about his patients and exceeds far beyond all expectations of what one would ever expect from a physician. He's extremingly intelligent, and on a personnel note he's very engaging. Also, when I came to Dr. Waters I didn't realize how close to death I was. I was unknowingly a very difficult patient Dr. Waters saved my life. Kudos to this doctor. He is deserving of all awards that can be bestowed upon him in his profession as a Thorasic Surgeon. He's the type of doctor you wouldn't ever consider leaving as a patient. I can't express the level of gratitude I have for Dr. Waters. All I can say is thank you for everything. I highly recommend Dr. Waters.

Dr Waters is great very carding and professional

Dr. Waters is great! My daughter had a cyst behind her heart. It was pressing on her esophagus and her heart. It was in a difficult place to get to. He did her surgery and it went very well. He is knowledge, thorough and very pleasant to deal with. He explained things in a way we could understand. He did not rush us, answered our questions and has been very attentive through this whole process. His staff is great too. I definitely recommend him.
