I had an event which affected my vision and wasn't sure what to do, since my career depends on 20/20 vision. I spoke with Dr. Kirby personally that morning, who recognized the symptoms of this emergency, and instructed me to present to her office immediately. Examination, diagnosis and laser surgery treatment were performed on that very day! Thank you Dr. Kirby and her staff for courteous, compassionate and critically timely care of my visual problem.

Call desk/Scheduling Very rude tone; impatient , sighing and making ridiculous noises while I am trying to re- scheduled my appointment. Take a break if you are already so overwhelmed in the morning, when day has not even begun! Be mindful that you are working where people have eye issues, and your patience is needed, it's not an option for your job!! Or go take a job at the groceries counter.

I called the Kirby Eye Center (of which I am a patient) and asked to be worked in to see the doctor for an emergency.  My eye was swollen with pain.  The person taking my call told me to take a picture and send it to the center for evaluation and I would be notified about being seen.  Not good enough.

Doctors and staff are great however the billing department does not return calls and do not answer the phone. If you have an issue, good luck.

I couldn't believe how they got those good reviews. I found this place based on other's reviews. But Let me tell you what a terrible experience I had with Dr. Amy Dang. She cares nothing but your pocket money. I came there for an annual eye exam and got my new glasses based on the prescription she gave me. However, after one week trial of the new glasses, I felt the prescription was too strong. I called them and they said I could came for a free checkup and readjustment of the prescription. When I came there, Dr. Amy Dang delayed my appointment for 1 hour and she didn't show any patience to re-check the prescription. She is so rude and impatient, and didn't want to communicate with me to figure out why the prescription is too strong. She didn't solve any problem and didn't do any useful checkup nor made any changes to my prescription. Also, she didn't give me new prescription. So disappointed. But after several weeks, I unexpectedly received a bill from them. Remember they told me to come and have a free checkup? Please avoid Dr. Amy Dang and Kirby Eye Center if you don't want to receive unexpected bills and don't want to meet such a unprofessional and rude O.D. for your eye exam!

Dr. Kirby and her staff are very efficient and professional. They take the time to explain everything they are doing. Had a cataract removed. Procedure took about 15 minutes. 24 hours later already seeing better. I am very pleased with everything from start to finish. Big thanks to Dr. Kirby and her wonderful staff.

I started seeing Dr Kirby in 1998 when I lost partial vision in my right eye. She is very thorough, professional, and has the patients best interest in mind.

Very thankful for this Doctor.  Worth the wait. Entire family sees Dr. Kirby.  You won't find a better place in Dallas for yourself or loved ones to be meticulously taken care of.  Comforting to have a Dr. that gets it perfectly right the very first time you see her.

My cataract surgery by Dr. Judith A. Kirby, MD, was done expertly! No complications, healing on schedule! It's wonderful to be able to see clearly now! She follows up carefully. Besides being a brilliant ophthalmologist, Dr. Kirby and her staff are caring, kind, thoughtful. ~A. Boyd
