I went to see Dr. Kevin Morrill on 5/25/22. The front office was very nice. The PA came in and did all the “testing”. Dr. Morrill came in for maybe two minutes, told me my MRI images weren’t uploaded yet and gave his opinion off of the reports. NO HELP. Not accommodating. He’s a well you don’t want to do it, see you later kind of guy. Does not try to help figure out a different solution. DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM if you have a “weird” case that answers need to be searched for.

Dr Morrill saved my life. After two neurosurgeons told me the surgery was too complicated for them, I was referred to Dr Morrill because complicated surgeries are his specialty. I will be forever grateful to him.
If I could give him zero stars, that is what I would give him. I waited 1 1/2 months to get an appointment with him. Took off half a day of work and then when I got there, his PA (who has a terrible bedside manner) told me we wouldn't be seeing him as he was gone and I would be seeing her and she would call him and have him go over all the imaging I brought which included Xrays, CT, MRI, EEG and Nerve Conduction Test. I provided those to the front desk when I checked in at 12:15 and saw her at 1:15 but they still did not have those docs uploaded so she basically asked me questions about things that were documented. She then told me to wait in the very cold waiting room and she would "call" Dr. Morrill and have him review my records (assuming they finally got them uploaded) but for us to wait in case he had any questions. I waited till 2:00, heard back from no one, and went to the front desk and told them we were leaving and they could call me. They did not so I sent an email and made a call this morning and finally got a return call 26 hours after my appointment only to be told they wanted to refer me to another Dr (not a Surgeon) who would do epidurals and PT so they could better locate the pain. I have already done both of those things which I disclosed on the paperwork I filled out AND in my conversation with rude PA so clearly no one spoke to anyone else. They just tried to pawn me off. I am contacting my insurance company and requesting them not pay the claim as I was not seen by a Dr. He is the 3rd Neurosurgeon I have seen and the other two recommended surgery but I wanted his opinion and so this is what I got for waiting over a month. Terrible office with terrible "customer" service. Believe the other reviews on this guy...Go elsewhere.
Dr. Morrill operated on my spine and back on August 11,2020. I had had back pain for 40 years and now I have no back pain. I’m so happy I chose him. He really explained things and assured me he could help me, where two other doctors said maybe. I would highly recommend him.
His office and his PA are terrible. I had an appointment with him as my 3rd Neurosurgeon opinion and waited over a month to get it. Got there and was informed by his PA he would not be seeing me. She asked the same questions I had completed on my new patient paper work as well as all addressed on the MRI, CT, XRays, EMG and Nerve test. The office had those records over an hour at that point but not loaded so she couldn’t see them. She was then to speak to the Dr and let me know if he had additional questions. We waited 45 minutes and she never came back in the room. We left and told the front desk she could call when she spoke to the Dr but she never did. I called and sent an email and 27 hours later got a call back from a nurse who wanted to refer me to a Pain Management Dr for an epidural and PT. I had already told PA as well as the paperwork both of those had already been done. Long story short, after 26 hours they wanted me to do what I’ve already done. I have no confidence the Dr even reviewed those records. Gross negligence on their part and inexcusable.
Went to see him and had CT scans and imaging and he only spent 2 minutes with me before he received the results. Received a text message from his office saying he couldn't help me. Nothing about helping with the pain in my lower back or walking without pain. I know I have scoliosis and had prior surgery but at least he could have tried to give me some sense of direction on where to go from here.
Dr. Morrill was very good and compassionate, He removed 2 brain tumors and I am very pleased with the results I would think of going to anyone else.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
