He is a great doctor. Hate to see him go

Dr. Gaston is the epitome of what a doctor should be. He is compassionate, caring, kind, friendly, generous with his time, positive and received training at one of America's top medical schools making him extremely qualified to handle any situation that arises. Dr. Gaston's demeanor is that of an old and trusted friend that always leaves you feeling much better after the visit than when arriving. Dr. Gaston always explains the situation so that it is easily understood as well as available treatment options and the one he has selected and why. Dr. Gaston is not only an outstanding physician but he is also a very good person!!! I highly recommend Dr. Gaston...

Dr Gaston performed robot-assisted prostatectomy surgery on me. Very satisfied with outcome. Grateful to my personal physician for catching the cancer and to Dr Gaston for successfully removing it. (Former Atrium Health employee.)

Dr. Gaston has performed multiple surgeries and procedures on me for Bladder cancer and related conditions. He is excellent. He explains thoroughly, is compassionate, and respectful. His staff is friendly, competent, and obviously well-trained. I highly endorse Kris Gaston.

Dr Gaston ,knows his work, he is an excellent physician and has an upbeat friendly manner. his first priority is his patients. He has treated me and I have had a very good outcome. His staff is friendly ,helpful and competent and the facility at Levine is great.

While being treated by Dr Kris Gaston, I felt that I was getting the best care possible. He explained to me the procedure that was going to take place, how (robotically) and what I should avoid after the procedure. Bedside manner was excellent.

Successful surgery that stopped severe bladder bleeding to point that required blood transfusion. Done in excellent manner.

My prostate cancer was treated by use of Cyberknife, and Dr. Gaston performed the implant of the fiducials. My results are uniformly excellent, and his treatment process and follow up were a major element in that success. More importantly, his candor and straightforward responses to questions were essential to my overall mental comfort with the entire procedure. He was also well- informed and very open in discussions of the various treatment options, potential outcomes, and cost factors.

Following my last review about Dr. Gaston in January 2016 I want to add the great consideration, attention and amazing care I am still receiving from Dr. Gaston and his staff. The Laparoscopic Renal Surgery done by Dr. Gaston in October 2015 was successful. During my visits for follow up Dr. Gaston and staff continue interested in my well being.

Dr Chris Gaston and staff are wonderful. If it were not for them I would be not be here to write this review. Not once, but twice they have diagnosed and saved my life. I thank Dr Gaston and his whole staff at Levine Cancer Institute.
