I visited Dr. Wiederkehr the first time yesterday for my reduced kidney function, water retention, and recent water weight gain. He made heroic changes to my medications of diabetes and hypertension to protect my kidney. He took time to know my medical history and to explain in detail why these changes were required. I am very impressed and thankful to be under his excellent care. My husband has been his patient since January, 2021. I have observed his improvement following the medication changes and the Hyperparathyroidectomy surgery recommended by Dr. Wiederkehr to further prevent the calcium stone formation in the kidney. It is incredible how effectively he treated my husband based on the fundamental chemistry, physiology and metabolism. Therefore, I decided to seek the help from Dr. Wiederkehr to resolve my issues and increasing concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Wiederkehr if one needs the best nephrologist.

I was very impressed with the time and care Dr. Wiederkehr took in figuring out the solution to my issues. He asked probing questions and figured out that I was on a medicine I shouldn’t be on and changed that to one that should be effective in addressing my needs much more effectively. He is an analytical thinker and knowledgeable doctor, which helped me feel confident in want to follow his recommendations.
