Dr Nathan Gilbert is the BEST Orthopaedic Surgeon in Texas. Specialist is complicated Total Hip Replacement surgery.I had stage 3 AVN (death of hip bone) Total successful surgery.Highly recommend Dr Gilbert genuine professional of complex and other orthopaedic surgerical needs.

This Dr.was part of my dads leg amputation recently due to cancer.I am so so disappointed in the team of drs that led us on about dads Cancer and did not take it Seriously! Since New Years 7 months later we are headed to Houston to help stop my father from dying. And it has metastasized and we are at Stage 4.You knew it was bad and did not have the balls to tell the family and get us where we needed.Its just a mans life thats all.

Dr Gilbert takes on the most complicated orthopedic problems. Top orthopedic doctors refer their patients with bad complications to Dr Gilbert. He treated me surgically last summer and saved my leg and I’m very thankful. My view on doctors is no matter their personality, nerdy, stand-offish, droll, gruff, or whatever, I’m not going to invite them over for dinner. Their job is to perform at a high level which Dr Gilbert exemplifies. That’s all I care about, doing a good job. Dr Gilbert is all business, he’s a busy guy so no chitchat. His job is to do a good job.

Update on below review. After calling back and speaking with another staff person. They managed to reschedule me and are trying to accomodate me. The initial person I talked to was young and had no idea I believe about how hard things can get when you are older. Upgraded review to 3 stars for now. ---‐‐---------------- Dr. Gilbert saved me from an awful knee infection and fixed my knee replacement a few years back. He was great. I have been unable to see him for 3 years as my 1 year appointment was the end of March 2020 and Covid started. As I am immunocompomised I waited until now for an appointment. Just for a recheck. Set up appointment and was set to go tomorrow. A girl called and told me to plan on waiting up to 3 hours once I get there to see him. I am driving an hour and a half to get there. I said that was not okay for me. She said that due to his "practice" it would always be that long. I said it wouldn't work and that I would have to find someone else. She said fine with her and cancelled my appointment. I wonder if Dr. Gilbert knows how very rude is people are and that they are not helpful to senior people. Very very very disappointed.

Dr Gilbert performed a hip replacement of a hip replacement. Arthritis had eaten away the bone surrounding the prior replacement and the wall that would enter into the vaginal wall. He did an amazing job!! I would recommend him to everyone! As a mater of fact I’m going back to him for my other hip replacement and my shoulder replacement, he’s that good and I trust him that much! I would like to add both my hips are doing fantastic, could not ask for a better outcome! Thank you, Dr Gilbert!!!!!

Dr.Nathan Gilbert saved my leg. A great bed side manner coupled with his brilliance makes him one of the greatest doctors you’ll ever want to have. After getting MRSA from another doctor during Surgery they sent me to Dr. Gilbert. I had a major infection which he treated. I had to have multiple surgeries back to back to not only get rid of the infection but to save my leg. I have the greatest confidence in him and would. Recommend him to anyone and everyone. You can’t go wrong with him and he will put you at ease. He is the best of the best. People come from all over the country just to see him.

Dr Gilbert performed a re-complete hip replacement for me. Did a fantastic job! My hip was eaten up by arthritis he fixed it up terrifically!! Has a very very busy office!

I have been seeing Dr. Gilbert since 2013 when he diagnosed me with a rare disease called PVNS to date he has performed nine surgeries including a total knee replacement I think he’s an exceptional and talented doctor I trust him completely. Everyone in his office has been nothing but courteous and very informative. Carmen is one of the sweetest people I have ever met she has called me numerous times when I’ve had problems after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Gilbert
