List of Nicholas Haddock Md's Reviews
I found Dr. Haddock to be an extremely disinterested physician after my initial surgery. I saw him once post mastectomy and he never left the doorway. He viewed my healing as he stood w/ his back to the door and simply said it looked good and asked if I was ready for saline injections, which I declined as I felt it was too soon. I had problems with healing and my oncologist and I repeatedly sent him pictures as the wound progressed. I never received any reply or feedback. I was hospitalized (not UTSW) twice after my initial surgery, had a culture done on the wound which was deemed infected. I saw a wound care specialist in the hospital which referred me for wound care. This was 2 months post original mastectomy. I did see his nurse a couple of times during this interim but not Dr. Haddock. I finally requested an appointment with Dr. Haddock after all of this and he was extremely angry. His exact words, "This makes me so mad! Everyone has staph on their body. If they do wound care that will just mess with your expanders." There was no care, concern, or compassion. My incision was now three times bigger than it was originally and I was literally soaking through Kotex pads within minutes. I was swollen to about a DD, hot, red, and now healthy tissue was turning black. I switched surgeons (left UTSW completely) and was in emergency surgery w/in 24 hours; my pathology report read, "Extreme gangrene." I am now 11 months past my mastectomy and still having problems. While the UTSW facilities are top notch, I did not have a good experience with any of their physicians.
Dr. Haddock is a truly exceptional and gifted surgeon. He met with me before my mastectomy, discussed options for reconstruction , and gave me the reassurance and strength to face a life altering experience. He performs an unbelievable number of reconstructions each and every year, helping thousands of women. His surgical skill and compassion are second to none.
Horrible. My wife had had multiple procedures done by Dr Haddock. During and after the procedures I don’t get any word on how she is doing, even after calling and leaving messages for him to call. Eventually long after the procedure after she is admitted to a room I am able to track her down in a room via hospital staff. He never visits her to follow up, he has a group of his staff that comes in on occasion to see her but they will never tell us anything whatsoever about how she is doing. She spends multiple days in the hospital each time and he NEVER checks on her, and his staff NEVER tells us anything about how she is or when she will be discharged. Eventually, the hospital staff will surprise us by bringing in discharge paperwork. Even after going home, we never hear from the doctor or his staff. After infections develop several days later (EVERY time), we still can’t talk to him, he just relays through a random member of his staff to go to the ER. He thinks he is God!!!
I highly recommend Dr. Haddock he is very Professional and kind and transparent. He was highly recommend from my Oncology team in Fort Worth and I trusted that recommendation. I had my breast reconstruction on December 4th. This was my 2nd reconstruction. Dr. Haddock did not do the first one. But he did a great job of fixing what needed to be corrected. I Thank God for Surgeons and teams like Dr. Haddock’s . I feel 100% better now. I should have done this 2 years ago. Surgery and recovery has been awesome.
Dr. Haddock is truly a joy to work with. After consulting with several plastic surgeons regarding my reconstruction after mastectomy, I felt very let down and like I had nowhere to turn. I was recommended by a friend to see Dr. Haddock and I am so so so thankful I did. He is so kind, compassionate, takes his time with me and answers all of my questions, and his work truly speaks for itself. He is very thorough, careful, and has an incredible eye for what looks good. I look better now than I ever did before surgery. I will and have recommended Dr. Haddock to any and all friends who would need any procedures that he does. He is an absolute gem and his staff truly is too!
Dr Haddock is a wonderful surgeon, both in skill and in patient care. I have felt very comfortable in his care.
Not only is Dr. Haddock amazing, but his entire office is! They are talented, efficient, professional, and kind. You can't ask for more than that.
Dr. Haddock is a great and so is his staff. Never have a long wait.
To make a long story short, I woke up on the morning following my breast implant surgery with almost no pain (and this was without pain medication). Fast forward to about two years later, the scar from my surgery is close to invisible and I have been fortunate to live a "normal" lifestyle even though I had breast cancer. I cannot express how much I appreciate Dr. Haddock and his professional nurses and staff for all that they have done. Thank you!
Dr. Haddock is a great plastic surgeon. He is personable and very professional. He helped me through many breast reconstruction surgeries. I totally trust him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
