After meeting with several surgeons, we chose Dr. Patel to complete my husband's neck surgery. We didn't take choosing a surgeon lightly, as neck surgery is a really big deal. He was able to explain the surgery and WHY it needed to be done. He explained everything so it was easy to understand, and we knew what to expect every step of the way. The follow up appointments were scheduled before the surgery even completed. The surgery went even better than expected, and Dr. Patel and his office staff were with us every step of the way. We will ALWAYS recommend Dr. Patel, he is a phenomenal surgeon, and a great guy overall. So blessed to have found him.

I had back pain from a herniated disc for about 30 years and had tried everything to avoid surgery - I was scared that it wouldn't go well. However, the symptoms recently began to include acute leg pain and numbness, so I was referred to Dr. Patel. He showed me the issues on my MRI and explained options. Together, we decided surgery (laminectomy) was the best solution. His team worked hard to get my surgery scheduled quickly. On the day of the surgery, he alleviated my fears with his warm and cheerful manner. The surgery was very successful, and I was back on my feet in a matter of days. I'm 100% free of leg pain, and my back pain is lessening as I work toward being active again. My only regret is that I didn't do this surgery sooner. I am so excited to be getting my life back!

When I first met Dr. Patel he calmed my fears about surgery. The pain had gotten so bad that just walking 5 feet was a struggle. He spent time with me alleviating my concerns with the surgery. His Bed-side manner is outstanding. The day of surgery he made sure that I was well informed and relaxed. In one day 8 months of pain were gone. Recovery was smooth and easy. His staff was outstanding. I wish I could give him 10 stars. He gave me my life back.

Let me start by saying what an amazing doctor. Dr. Patel is someone who cares for his patients and it shows. He did surgery on my back and did an excellent job. Thanks doctor Patel for putting me back together again. And I might add he will have you laughing which is good for the soul.

You made me feel at ease during one of the most difficult and fearful time in my life. I went to see Dr. Nimesh for a second opinion on surgery for L4 and L5. The first physician had recommended a TLIF but that surgery is extremely invasive. Dr. Nimesh said he had examined the X-rays of my back and said he could do an ALIF surgery which is not as intrusive. I was afraid and postponed the surgery until I could no longer stand the numbness and pain that would not let me function. I could"t stand up and walk without pain and I could not sit down because of the pain. I called the doctor's office and scheduled the surgery for September 19th. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Patel came to the pre-surgery room to let me know there was nothing to worry about because he was going to make sure the surgery would be successful with no problems. His genuine smile and his confidence comforted me. The surgery was 100% successful. I have not experienced any pain since the surgery. I have been enjoying my life ever since. I highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone who needs back surgery.

I recently had a laminectomy performed by Dr. Patel and his surgical team. What a life changing experience! I had stenosis at L4-L5 that caused extreme pain radiating down the back of both my legs. Often there were times, prior to the surgery, I was even on crutches. However, from the moment I walked into my first appointment, through the surgical procedure, and finally the post-op appointment, Dr. Patel and his staff were professional, competent and caring. Now, I am totally pain-free and can do all the activities that I use to do. If you are in need of a neurosurgeon, I highly recommend choosing Dr. Patel and his team.
