List of North Texas Endocrine Center's Reviews
I use to really really love going here, but lately not so much. You can NEVER get anyone on the phone for scheduling. Appointments are constantly being cancelled. It is so annoying. I do love Julia and Dr. Bressler but trying to get an appointment here is like pulling teeth. I have not been seen in over 6 months! Need to do better with the appointment scheduling process.
Dilliard and Bressler and great. I cannot say enough positive things about both. I initially saw Dilliard and she was extremely thorough and took her time. She was on time for my appointment which I've never experienced with end of the day appointments. She had spent almost the full hour with me talking through my history, past treatment options for my PA, and what seemed to work and what didn't. I cannot recall the last time one of my healthcare providers had been on time AND did not rush the appointment. I saw Bressler a little later and he was just as professional, attentive, and thorough. Both are exceptional clinicians and I would refer anything to them. I see other comments about the front office staff. They have always been nice and courteous to me. The medical assistant that roomed me was very sweet and welcoming.
Extremely bad experience for me and my husband with front office staff especially the elderly black lady who attended made us wait almost 10 mins after calling us to counter because, she was not finished with previous patient's documentation. She left the counter multiple times and we kept waiting until she was like sorry for wait which was like more than 10 mins. Later after appointment was done during checkout was another set of horrendous drama by the checkout area where they pushed us to the front desk where the same black elderly lady asked us wait in line along with the check-in patients. This was extremely rude and after waiting for over 15 mins another older lady came and called us back to the checkout counter. This place is a total mess. Worst experience for checkout which should have been a breeze. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and this organization should have proper staff better equipped to deal with patients who are pregnant moms who's under a lot of stress and pain due their condition.
I was referred here by my PCP. The first appointment I could get was 2 months out. Then, a week before my appointment, they called to say it was cancelled because the doctor would be out-- seriously? I had to reschedule out another month, making it 3 months just to get an initial visit. I've also had to go back and forth with them several times since my PCP is sending them my paperwork and they continue to say they don't have it. I got a referral for another endocrinologist and will be going there instead.
I'm rating the Dr not the staff. I have had similar struggles to those described in the negative reviews with reservations, reschedules, check ins, and refills. Bressler and Dillard are top notch and my favorite medical folks in town. The staff is friendly but nearly unreachable by phone and they struggle with many tasks in person. I don't know the cause of the issues I have had, so I won't blame anyone in particular, but I recommend a healthy dose of patience if you're needing help from the front desk.
After testing to determine my condition, I was given an appointment with Medical Assistant Kristin Stansbury to go over their recommended protocols for treatment. Before setting this appointment, I had communications issues with the office trying to set a date for this consult. Jessica Salazar had attempted to contact me by phone, but these attempts failed for various reasons. The office could have contacted me by email, but they recorded my address incorrectly. They made no attempt to contact me by snail mail, even though I sent them a detailed letter on my letterhead asking for contact to set an appointment. I was somewhat frustrated by all this when I sat down to confer with Kristin. She told me she was not familiar with my medical history or any of my failed attempts to contact the office for an appointment. In other words, she disavowed any prior knowledge of me. When I questioned her as to why she had not prepared to see me for the first time, since I believe the usual medical office protocol is be familiar with a patient's record before meeting them, she merely repeated her stance. I asked her to pull up info she had on me as a patient so that we could go over it now, she acted mildly aggrieved at my request. She did pull it up, and we continued with our visit, albeit strained. Question: Is this how the North Texas Endocrine Center manages their healthcare business? If so, could you please consider asking your med. asst. to please review a patient's history prior to meeting with them for the first time?
I always arrive before my scheduled appointment but am always made to wait a minimum of 20-30 min, always. Seems patient's time is not consider as valuable. I have to take time off work to get to my appointment and am not given the courtesy of an on time appointment.
Absolutely horrible do not go to Dr. leopard made me wait 2+ hours just to see him the first time and then took over two weeks for me to actually get the information that he wouldn’t write a letter for the Department of motor safety for diabetes and why I can drive absolutely horrible experience do not go to this doctor very rude unprofessional and does not know how to get in touch with his patients email or phone very simple and they also lied about sending me a voicemail My father and I both tried to contact them to no avail until two weeks later absolute horrible doctor and I also sent all the information to one of his clerks or nurses just as bad
Great physicians Dr. Bressler and Julie Dillard are Awesome. I received great care. RN’s and front desk staff are really nice.
STAY AWAY FROM LEFFERT! Absolutely abysmal. Nutritionist read my chart wrong for an entire visit. Was withheld important treatment information, including how to effectively use my medications. Had to call the emergency line to get an insulin prescription I should have gotten on Day 1. Was not made aware of my treatment plan. Can't get them to answer the phone. At the time of writing this, their emergency phone line is disabled. They're a nightmare to get refills from.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
