List of Ophthalmology Surgery Center Of Dallas's Reviews
I had an excellent experience here for my recent goniotomy and cataract surgery. Everyone I came in contact with was efficient, kind, and professional. Special thanks to my RN Miguel who went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable (warm blankets!!) and informed and to Dr. Kay Davis, my anesthesiologist who answered all of my questions and took great care of me, all with a fun sense of humor. I also appreciated Lacey, Tracy, and Carol. I’m so grateful Dr Arvind Neel chooses to do his surgeries here.
This Surgery Center is amazing. The ease and the staff is amazing. They make you feel safe and secure. Very aware of your needs and very happy to meet them. Had two surgeries at this facility and it was exceptional both times. Highly recommend this center.
Had eye surgery the staff was kind..a wonderful experience fixn to have the other eye done
I have nothing but nice things to say. The facility was clean and orderly. I am an English speaker myself but I heard multiple staff members proficient in English and Spanish which is really lovely for this area. Dr. Nettune with Cornea Assoc was my surgeon. As far as the support staff (pardon my lack of specificity here, I'm not sure who would be considered what. I.e. surgical techs, nurses etc) everyone was so wonderful and kind. I felt very cared for and safe. I have really bad anxiety and I felt comfortable and that everyone took the time to make sure I understood all the steps and procedures. Special shout out to the sweet woman who helped get me ready for anesthesia with the vitals and warm blankies. She had a cute little red pixie cut and she was just the bees knees!!! Thanks again!
Had eye surgery here with Dr Grover. From start to finish it was wonderful! My fears and concerns were listened to and I can say there was no reason for them. Nurses anesthesiologists etc were caring and listened. Good surgery experience!
problems are with billing department they cannot be reached by phone. the Phone is answered but won't then connect to any chosen extension. Emails are not responded to
Unfortunately, I have been a part of dozens of trips to this surgery center. The medical staff is fantastic, the level of care is great, but the business office functions are horrible...specifically the billing. I've had incorrect estimates on patient liability, over collecting when insurance is billed incorrectly and the cherry on top...claiming I had an outstanding balance on a visit from FIVE YEARS ago and trying to collect on it. Turns out, there was not a balance owed but they didn't realize their mistake until after I was sent to collections. They need to do better for their patients.
Had eye surgery on October 25, 2021 that was total disaster! First it took two nurses to get IV in arm! Next my surgeon with Key Whitman said my surgery would be delayed 45-60 min due to another surgeon using equipment she needed? How does that happen?! Surgery actually was delayed over an hour and half! No update was given to my husband about either delay or when he could come back to recovery room until he asked! Not one nurse checked back with me after IV was started to update me, or ask if I needed anything, like going to bathroom which I did, 3 times and had to flag down 3 different nurses to help me! I woke up in recovery in so much pain that recovery nurse had to give me Fentanyl 3 times before pain ended. Recovery was supposedly going to be 30-45 min. It took 90 mins! Was at surgery center from 11:00 am arrival until 5 pm! Both me and my husband were traumatized and it’s been two weeks and i still cry when telling anyone, including surgery center about feeling invisible that day! I’ve had apologies from both surgeon and surgery center but nurses have not admitted that they never checked on me in fact they lied and said they did, which makes me even more angry and traumatized! Not sure I will ever get over this experience. Worse surgical center experience I’ve ever experienced in my 72 years!
Been in waiting area for almost 2 hours waiting to go into surgery this place sux and they are very rice here! Never again will I be back here!
I had strabismus surgery here. The staff was kind and professional. The billing department is not. I had paid a percentage at time of service. Then had a payment plan set up. I was making payments and then my bill went up by thousands! Apparently they filled at a different time then my DR. So just when I thought I had it paid off I have thousands more! Well I'm not rich and I budget so needless to say this extra payment was not budgeted for. I was making payments when Covid hit last year. I called and the girl said just keep paying what you can. I did. Then out of the blue I start getting bill collector calls from a place called MNET Financial. I asked the billing department at the Opthalmology clinic what that was about. They said it's a debt management company. Not a collector. Nope, it's a collector. They are the rudest people. Hated dealing with this bill and for so much money. Even with insurance! BEWARE of the so-called "debt management company" MNET. Rude! And Opthalmology clinic had no explanation for me why my account was even with them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
