Let me start by saying I absolutely love Dr Zimmern and trust him and am due to have surgery with him. I’ve waited three days for someone to call me back to address a concern/illness. Unfortunately, Amber Neely (nurse), refuses to call me back and will only pass messages through the answering service. I’ve been calling for 3 days and tomorrow will be the fourth. I’m also not hearing from my Dr. This is very disappointing and while I really trust Dr. Zimmern to take care of me and perform my surgery, this week will determine if I have to find a new Dr. I simply don’t feel cared for or safe in his the hands of his staff and that make me very sad. UPDATE: After escalating to UTSW someone finally offered to schedule me for a televisit, 7 days later.

He continued to put off my surgery until I experienced a health crisis. He did a lot of superfluous tests and just told me to go to the ER when I had continued infections. I really suffered under his care.

A kind gentle and very knowledgeable urologist who has a particular interest in female urinary issues including incontinece, chronic urinary tract infections and pelvis floor dysfunction. I have suffered with these issues for many years and find him very competent.

Dr. Zimmern is a phenomenal Urologist who SAVED MY LIFE. Before seeing Dr. Zimmerin, I had such traumatic experiences with a failed ....cystocele, a failed mesh urethral sling and failed Macroplastique Injections (which migrated into my bladder). Needless to say, I felt my life was ending...and it almost did. After being evaluated, diagnosed and treated by Dr. Zimmerin, I can tell you, he is by far, the most brilliant, kind, compassionate, and patient Urologist that I have ever been blessed to see. His expertise and dedication to the field of Urology and to his patients is truly amazing and commendable. I thank God everyday for his dedication and I’ll be eternally grateful for his brilliant surgical skills that have had such a positive impact on my life. THANK YOU DR. ZIMMERIN!
