Dr. Johnson was referred to me for my son to have tubing put in his ears. This was our very first time meeting during prep just before his surgery and I felt very good vibes. He was very personable, very kind and took the time to answer any, and all questions I may have had before the surgery. I felt very comfortable having him perform this surgery on my son! The surgery went well and all the nurses and attendants were just as friendly and made us feel Very comfortable during our stay! I would have NO problem giving a referral to his office. Thank you Dr. Johnson and staff!❤️

He is the BEST! He operated on 2 of my kids and I felt safe and confident each time he operated on them. He is knowledgeable and explains any and everything that you may worry about as a parent. The absolute BEST ENT for kids.

Dr. Romaine F. Johnson is very arrogant in my whole 52 years of living I've never met a doctor as dr. Johnson. My niece had surgery on January 3,2018. The mother was very concerned before they went into surgery. Dr. Johnson they went over all the procedures that will be done on my little niece. The mother was called to come to children medical center for surgery. When they arrived at the time that the hospital request the staff then push the surgery back 4 hours they finally did her surgery. They call when they took my little niece back and told her mother that everything went fine. Once the surgery was over the doctor came out said everything went great. My niece ask Dr. Johnson questions then he got very irritated, I asked questions and was concerned about my niece he got more irritated. Dr. Johnson didn't like to be questioned he didn't like answering questions and so the last straw was when my nice asks about the clipping of her daughter's tongue which was on the top of the list he totally freak out. Dr. Johnson told my niece that he didn’t think it was necessary to have the procedure done. How is that when you just told my niece 30 mins before surgery that she would have the clipping of her tongue. Dr. Johnson stated that they (we) didn’t think it was necessary. How did it change during surgery and no one notified my niece of the changes he later came back and apologized. But again when my niece ask Dr. Johnson a question he told my niece that he can go back in there and cut my little niece tongue what doctor does or say stuff like this to anyone. I would never recommend Dr. Johnson to anyone.

We love Dr. Johnson! He is caring and compassionate and very PROACTIVE. Our daughter sees a bunch of different specialists and they are always quick to "well lets see what other doctors say" but he is always the man with the plan. He listens to our concerns and always takes our opinions seriously because "we know her best". He is truly one of the great ones.

Dr. Johnson is an awesome Dr. He has a positive attitude and explains things well. deals with scared parents and their children in a kind and caring manner that makes you feel comfortable.

Dr. Johnson has been performing DLB's on my son for HPV for over two years. I am thankful that he is well networked with regards to HPV and technology as well as R&D. My son is only 8 years old but he loves his surgeries every six to 8 weeks. He loves Dr. Johnson and is so comfortable at Children's Medical in Dallas. He goes back to the OR laying on his belly with his hands out like super man. What a wonderful feeling our family has knowing that our son is so well taken care of and loved.

Dr. Johnson was professional and thorough. He was timely and diagnosed and treated my son. Words cannot express how impressed I was with Dr. Johnson (and his staff). My son had been living with an infected prearricular abcessed pit since he was 2. We finally found Dr. Johnson when my son was 6. We had been through 4 ENT's previously.What I really appreciated is he took time to explain, brought on another surgeon for plastic surgery (to correct a botched prior surgery from my son's FORMER pediatrician). Everything was executed excellently-from his office to the overnight stay at Children's Dallas Hospital. We are soooo thankful!

Dr. Johnson is a wonderful doctor. He has treated my son since he was born (now 2). My son has required numerous surgeries, including tracheotomy and tonsillectomy. Dr. Johnson always takes the time to fully explain the procedure, benefits and risks, and has always sat with us following each surgery to discuss the outcome and next steps. He's very bright, confident but not arrogant. I trust him fully.
