Accused me of being addicted to opioids bc he saw a script for cough syrup with codeine in it in the prescription database. Arrogant and dismissive, this doctor treated me as a lying criminal rather than an adult professional with young children, all because he decided on his own that I was an addict. Never been so offended in my life.

Upon relocating to DFW in July, my daughter's Neurologist recommended Dr. Hays because he completed his residency in the city that we are from. I have been calling for the past 4 months to make an appointment to no avail. The same person continues to take my call, but we haven't moved past a bunch of reasons why an appointment can not be made. I have even go so far as to send a full copy of my daughter's medical records and i still can not make an appointment. This is extremely frustrating as my daughter has had success brain surgery in Philadelphia and has been seizure free for 18 months. Because we were relocating, her doctor in Philadelphia did not want to reduce her meds (understandable), but I never expected to be treated in such an unprofessional manner. Furthermore, I hate having to write this review because it does not speak to the professionalism of Dr. Hays but unfortunately, there is no one else to complain to.
