Be wary of this doctor and his communication with patients and his staff and messages they are supposed to receive. Because of his lack of communication, my father in law was unable to have his scheduled surgery to remove his cataracts, leaving him unable to see for who knows how long until the VA will approve another doctor to get the schedule clearances. He also miss- injected him in the eye when doing a procedure, due to a chair moving, causing great pain to my father in law. Very disappointed in his services and lack of consideration for all patients, especially veterans like my father in law.

Dr. Sia Chavala has treated and maintained my moms eyesight for five years. She was first diagnosed with macular degeneration when she was 94. She is now 99.... and still maintaining her eyesight with the expertise and detailed knowledge that Dr. Chavala provides. Not only is he a brilliant doctor, but he has a delightful personality, compassionate and makes you feel “at ease”. Highly recommend Dr. Chavala. ***** 👍👀

Dr. Sia Chavala is truly a lifesaver. He’s treated my mom with age-related macular degeneration for 5 years. He has maintained and supported her eyesight for 5 years. He’s not only brilliant in his education, performance, and expertise but he is kind, comforting and understanding. Patient to answer any and all of your questions.

We took our 4 mo daughter to see Dr. Chavala and he was able to properly diagnose our daughter's premature retinal vasculature after a terrible experience at another doctor. He was very nice, explained things fully, and highly recommend him.
