The staff was very helpful and friendly with the care of my mom. Her whole stay there.

My son Matthew came to select specialty Hospital in Dallas I knew it was a sign from God when I talk to Soundria RT manger ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹she were my backbone she pray for us encourage me in the Lord and the goodness of God she were there for me at time she order food and have it send to me such amazing heart and has sure a sweet meek mild spirit I can’t thank her enough for love and caring spirit she has. thanks to The CEO he worked hard to get Matthew there along with Cle the case manger was a great case always encourage me about the Goodness of God ,and nurse supervisor Janice were very sweet and humble spirit encouraging me positive and helpful she would from times make she I had food from she order for me they all believe oh God with me in everything and I have seem God move also nurse Elizabeth she is such a sweet person meek and humble spirit she would pray and Beleive God an encourage me that God was going to be faithful and move and for Matthew she Beleive and Believing God with me to the end she say Mama everything going to be fine and say what God cannot do does not exist she say do worry mama God he is going to do and nurse Rita was his first nurse when he got there she also encourage me and spoke over his life and what God cannot do does not exist and Beleive God with me also all of his nurse were great nurses I can’t name them all very caring and loving all and all of his Nurses Aides was great with him they all are jolly come in and talk to him very loving and caring and every one came in his room to do anything for him and the Drs were great and all of the the nurses supervisor are Great this place is a faith fill place never been in a Hospital with so many workers Beleive in the power of God all of the RT was great but Tracy he had was amazing and God send at the 1st Hospital he were at said he would be ventilator depended but he is off of the ventilator thank to Tracy❤️❤️❤️❤️ which is so good at what he do I call him Dr Tracy Karl and ms Joe❤️❤️❤️❤️ just amazing and the other one was Great too at night Karl made sure I had snacks and something to drink they took very Good of Matthew I could sleep thur the night thanks to all the day and night nurses awesome and Cna are great sorry I can’t name every one I felt some loved in that place it like family and shout out to Phillip he took care help grooming Matthew he cut his hair he did a great Job and the wound care nurse and tech was great thanks for be there for Matthew I hope I’m not missing anyone love you all at the place and miss you all thanks for taking very good care of my baby thanks to the dietitian also coming up with a plan for him if I could give a scale to 1-10 with 10 being the highest I would give a 10 this it the place to bring your love one if you looking for long term care place God dwell in this place thank you all for the great care your done now I’m believing God to finish what he started in my son Matthew here at TIRR in Houston if I think of anything I miss I will post again thank love you all thank the CNA that made sir I had snack also and Housekeeping I for got her name the main one works on the that floor is amazing she encourages me also alway got the things I needed very special

This hospital took very great care of my grandmother! The hospital and staff as a whole was caring and treated us like a family. Would definitely recommend this hospital to others.

I want to give a big shout to the RT manger and her team. My experience there with them was wonderful they were very nice and on point with everything with my husband. Our Experience here was great. I’ll say this is the best hospital to go to while sick.

When I wrote my first review, I was very angry in that moment. I still believe this place caused our mom death prematurely. Just know God will take care of it. ****This is part of one of my original reviews: This place is a death sentence for the very sick. I believe they cause our mother death prematurely last year by not sending her to Baylor earlier for a problem she was suffering. It is my understanding they didn't continue her antibiotics when she first came. They didn't get a heart doctor to evaluate her with her being a heart patient. If you vitals are fine in their eyes they let you suffer. The doctor doesn't listen to the head RT when asked to perform a test to check for fluid in the lungs. I feel the RT department did what they could do but was blocked by the doctor (s). It appears the staff, whatever department that maybe, didn't check to see if the whole door open properly in case of an emergency. Some of the nurses and staff are very uncaring. We had to keep asking for them to change out the nurses. The staff doesn't answer the patient call in a timely matter especially the ones with problems whatever department this may be. How are you asking a patient what they need that can't speak? The sad part is that they will not have a case against them if the patient has a lot of pre-existing conditions. Our mother knew this place was going to kill her. As I write this with tears in my eyes. Take you relative home to die before going to this place ever ever. Do you hear me? You probably could take better care than them. Just know you all who is at fault will answered to God for it

Empathetic, Down to earth, Caring, & knowledgeable, are four words/ phrases that come to mind when thinking of the Select Specialty staff. My mom was admitted to Select for over 2 months and during that time we got to know the staff very well. We were skeptical after the rough experience we had at BUMC, but this team has done a remarkable job at turning our worries and fears into hope & reassurance. If you want your family member to get the care and attention they need, Select is the place to go. You are 100% treated like family from day one. We have had ups and downs with my moms condition but she is now on her way to inpatient physical therapy & I cannot thank this team enough for being such rays of sunshine in such a dark time. From the bottom of our hearts we are truly thankful for each & every one of you for the care & support you all have given us. I became ill in January and after long hospital stays I was told I needed to go to a long term acute care hospital. When Select Specialty Hospital was placed as a choice I was skeptical because of a bad experience with another location (with husband), but I decided to give it a chance (Gaston location) and Im glad I did. The wound care team saved my life ..literally Thank you Corizon and team. My therapy team Reggie, Jordyn and Desirae went above and beyond what was required and Im so thankful for them helping holding my pieces together as I not only dealt with my leg injury but dealing with grief, they were there. My nursing staff was exceptional from Manny, Amerita to Tee,Dionne, Tocarra,Yvette and so many others. Anybody I missed I love you .It was good times and some not so good times but they got me healed, they supported me emotionally and the doctors and nurses were phenomenal. Im so thankful for them all.

I was a patient at this facility recently and I recommend it for your acute care needs. The nurses, therapists, staff and doctors do an excellent job with communication and consistent in the care of the patients. This was my second acute facility I might add.
