List of Stephanie Jones Md's Reviews
I saw Dr. Jones today. I found her to be extremely professional and thorough. She spent a considerable amount of time, asking questions and examinging me. I was very pleased with her honesty and compassion.
Dr Jones is very kind, patient, professional, and detail oriented. During my first appointment, she immediately ordered an x-ray and MRI. And during my second appointment, she explained the nature of my pain and each step of the treatment she would prescribe. That gave me so much confidence. Her nurse, PA, and office staff were extremely courteous. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Femi Abegunde.
Absolutely irresponsible and non-responsive. I would not recommend seeing this physician. She does not respond nor does her office. I have been waiting for three days and counting for them to figure out how to electronically send my prescription to the pharmacy.--Annoyed to say the least.
I’ve been trying to get a follow up appointment scheduled for a while now. I talked to the receptionist today and said it’s been pending Dr. Jones and she has yet to get back to the nurses. It’s been a pretty awful experience with her office!
Lacking integrity, not forthright, accusatory cauda equina, spinal cord injury palliative care patient - lacks empathy, looks for excuses to discharge you as a patient instead of ways she can help. Makes outlandish accusations behind your back instead of asking you about it to your face. I often travel out of state, could so easily get drugs there if I was this sneaky person looking to skirt the laws or abuse narcotics. This doctor is hyper focused on narcotics and detective work instead of doing her job. I have never done illegal drugs in my life but now completely understand why other’s in pain switch to them. I can go back to my previous pain management doctor if I was just searching for narcotics. Lacks just plain common sense.
Just the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor or hospital system. And I’ve never written a poor review with just utter disappointment. If this is ranked the best we have... we really are in trouble
After a referral from another UTSW physician, my husband went to Dr. Jones for months only to find out she wasn’t even actively treating all of his chronic pain areas/symptoms. It was a huge waste of time and money. There was no noticeable difference in pain much less an active plan communicated to us to manage the pain. Very disappointing and disheartening for someone in severe chronic pain. The upside was the pain management program that is a combination of PT, psychiatric, and pain mgmt but that seemed to be managed outside of Dr. Jones’ office (thankfully!). We’re now exploring options in another hospital system.
Do not waste your time here. This woman clearly operates under fear. Makes excuses not to treat you or dump you as a patient. When she can't point to a contract you violated she will site unknown trust issues. Then blames the patient for her lacking protocols or professionalism in her staff. Do not waste your time here, amateur, accusatory and low budget.
I wouldn't know how to rate her care since she canceled my appointment AFTER I showed up at my scheduled time. I missed work to come to the appointment and was in severe pain. The "best" her staff could do for a reschedule was two weeks out. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
Dr. Jones has a complete lack of empathy or compassion for her patients. I went in with a recommendation of specific treatment from my surgeon, she ignored it, offered another treatment option which I unfortunately agreed to. I did all of the intake appointments, stopped my medication, then her response was to tell me that I would need to find another dr because she was full and only accepting cancer and perioperative patients.Completely wasted 6 wks of my time and left me in worse pain.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
