Do not come here if you are a diabetic. Are a person of color. Told me that my suger ok at 80. I dont think so. I just walk out.if you want to die go here.
Parking should be free. Just like healthcare. Internet is terrible, it requires you to enter an email and phone number to get online, then constantly kicks you off. With profits of over 100 million dollars, one would think both of these issues could be remedied with very little disruption to the bottom line. It would also lift morale when a large majority of the people visiting are doing so under not so happy circumstances.
My mother was at the hospital several days before finally being transfered to hospice. The nurses were very rude to my sister's and let my mom suffer a great deal in the final days. I too witnessed this negligent care.
This hospital deserves less than one star. 12/30/2025 for the patients coming in for surgery was a mess to say the least. We were to arrive around 10:40 a.m. We received a call asking if we could come early since the doctor was ahead of schedule. We arrived at 9:30 a.m. My mom finally was taken back to surgery at 10:40 p.m. There were issues with the humidity in the operating rooms, we understood that. The doctor wanted to do the scheduled surgeries today, we understood that and since we drove in from out of town (approximately 188 miles away) and spent money on rooms, food, drinks and gas , we agreed, because to leave and come back would have cost us more. Needing to call someone in to help, we understood that. But what we didn't understand is that someone who arrived after us and had the same surgeon went before my mom, that was where the understanding stopped. So we asked to speak with the doctor to find out why and it was explained that he doesn't schedule the operating rooms. So we asked not only to speak to the doctor but the nurse who scheduled the operating rooms. The doctor came right away, he was just as upset but explained it was out of his hands, that the nurse who scheduled the operating rooms had it that way and didn't change the swap my mom to the other room when the room that my mom was suppose to be in dropped humidity. We waited and approximately an hour later asked another nurse if she knew the scheduling nurses name, she did not, we stated we had been waiting to speak with her and she hadn't been in to speak with us. The nurse went to ask and we are guessing told someone we had been waiting to speak with the scheduling nurse, because finally came in a nurse named Janet C. came in and stated she was in charge of scheduling the rooms. We asked why my mom couldn't have gone into the room that was open, she said that the tools were already open and laid out for my moms case, so instead of putting the tools for my moms case in the operating room with correct humidity they chose to bump her. She mentioned the cost of reopening tools, well it's not my mom's fault about the humidity, so didn't understand that. I'm wondering why tools are open already before my mom even gets in the room, but if they are and they are covered, could they not have been moved? Lots of i apologize and I'm sorry, but no legit reason in our opinion. Highly disappointed in the some of the staff. Highly disappointed with administration. There were issues with overall patient care as well. One example, our mom's mouth was extremely dry. I mean we are almost at the 24 hour mark with nothing by mouth. They couldn't even let her use a mouth swab or wet a paper towel to wet her mouth. Didn't even ask the doctor if that was a possibility. I mean we weren't asking to let her have a glass of water just something to help alleviate discomfort. One shining nurse was Shelly C. from the night shift.
Don’t come to this hospital if you’re looking for an OBGYN specifically Dr. David Lombardi’s office. WORST staff you could imagine. They don’t answer phones or return messages. I wanted to transfer doctors and they didn’t want to send my medical records over in a timely manner. It doesn’t take 2 weeks to send over records when you know someone is almost due.. Dr. David is okay but as far as his medical team TRASH.
A week on the 4th floor of the Main Building East with my 96 year old mother was a terrible experience. We had a few very good nurses, techs, and one incredible physician (Dr. Vivek Sharma, Nephrologist). Otherwise, I was so disappointed in the care we received from the rest of the staff. Prior to her admission she was still living independently in an apartment with her children living out town. My mom was 96 yet no one would discuss end of life care with us or with her, including palliative care services. She had a horrible sounding cough yet only one physician (Dr. Sharma) and possibly one nurse ever even put a stethoscope on her chest! She had an x-ray revealing pneumonia and pulmonary edema but no one ever discussed this with us (I read it on her My Chart). She was complaining of pain but was not being given pain meds. She was struggling to breathe but was not given a nebulizer treatment until she got to hospice. My daughter, a PA in an emergency room in Louisiana, had to call the house supervisor for us to finally get my mom a plan of care. I have been an RN for 35 years, providing bedside nursing care, and I kept trying to advocate for my mom but I was never listened to. She was not provided the standard of care that any human deserves for trying to alleviate her pain, or at a minimum, maintaining her dignity. Now I am left regretting not stopping them from hurting her when they aggressively moved her and not contacting the house supervisor myself throughout our stay to get the care my mom deserved. I tried to be kind to the staff and not be difficult but in the meantime I allowed her care to be compromised. Thankfully, my mom was transferred to an inpatient hospice for her last 16 hours of life and they not only cared for her so beautifully but they also provided my sister and me some much needed loving care too.
This ER is a disaster. Do not expect pain medicine, do not expect courtesy, and do not expect them to make a difference? Terrible experience. Look elsewhere to save yourself or a loved on time and energy. If you are a person of color you should definitely look elsewhere.
My first experience was wonderful the cash register lady I called her. With a smile on her face she greeted me with a hello always for years I would go in there and she would bring me with that smile and let her love now it has changed over the years and now it's all new a new price and new people new designs you name it they got it it's unbelievable how beautiful it is in there but it's cold and dreary no smiles no greet you and even if a person say good morning if you look on their face they don't mean it they barely do want to be there that's my opinion and I do have one but again I don't go in there like I used to I would love to I've spent the last 20 something years and more wanting and out of their gift shop picking stuff out for the holidays enjoying walking in the ocean or smiling face and a warm heart I guess things do change but don't let that in care this scares you for not going in there at least looking around I do it all the time
This is the worst hospital experience I have ever had. I am currently here in the hospital and I have not had any sleep due to my adjoining room neighbor. She thinks she has come to the big city and this is her party hotel room for all her friends. They have talked loudly all day. It’s midnight and I think they finally were asked to leave. They have verbally fought with each other. The patient if left alone will scream loudly repeatedly for hours “nurse, nurse help me, someone help me”. This goes on all day if she is left alone. Then her party group comes back and they yell talk to each other. I know I can hear five different voices. This went on the entire day today. They think they are in a Days Inn. These are old women. It is now 1:30 am. The nurses will not handle any of it and act like they don’t hear a thing. This is the second night of this and the nurse denial. Different sets of nurses I might add. Do absolutely nothing. This is a HOSPITAL. I am here because I am very ill. I cannot get better with this unbelievable attitude from the nurses to not deal with these issues. It causes much more stress on top of being very ill. I am truly appalled that a hospital would disrespect its patients and allow this nonsense go on ALL DAY AND TWO NIGHTS. THE ABSOLUTE WORST HOSPITAL IN DALLAS IF YOU NEED HEALING CARE. IMPOSSIBLE TO REST and FEEL BETTER. YOU WILL FEEL WORSE WHEN YOU ARE RELEASED.
Terrible ER experience. This hospital does not even know what it doesn't know and isnt smart enough to ask for help. They had problems with a diagnosis and chose to CT scan the full body - at least that was what the order was and then they didnt do it. Family ended up in a 2nd ER only to find out if Presby had done their job they would have found life threatening blood in the lungs. It is impossible to me that someone would come in with trouble breathing and then not be examined fully by the doctor. They then kicked this patient out of the ER instead of providing the care required.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
